Le Taillevent is a two star restaurant and it shows. It combines traditional French old school class with more modern (French) cooking with high quality products. A combination guaranteeing a fine dining experience. Staff is very professional and courteous. You may want to dress up in order not to feel underdressed for the occasion (although tie no longer acquired for... More

If you want a quiet dinner with really great food and a very high end bill at the end of the night then go here. The food really is great and so is the service but the restaurant has zero atmosphere. To be fair this is probably the vibe they are going for. I ate alone as travelling on business.... More

Went for lunch and had the menu with the wine pairing. Food was pretty great (perfect appetizers, so-so main dishes, great desserts), it is definitely a restaurant for the older generation of business people. Several staff members are around at all times (one bringing a fork, one bringing a special spoon, one bringing something to clean the crumbs, someone else... More

Le Taillevent is one of the best restaurants in Paris.Highly suggest the Degustation menu.excellent wine list, wonderful cheese selection to go with an elegant Bourgogne wine in lieu of dessert.Pricey restaurant but worth every penny.

We come to Paris every year and one of the reasons is to visit the Taillevent - normally for a long lunch. This time we joined them for a special dinner with an Italian menu and white truffles. We always find the Taillevent is amazing giving a gastronomic experience it is sometimes hard to imagine how they do it; but... More

Environment and meal are great. Owning a fantastic wine celler, and save in a great condition. Every waiter and waitress are professional and well-trained. However, the atmosphere might be a little too serious.

Expensive but impressive spot. Count 200€ min for a dinner. Service a bit tense, very traditional French food of a good quality. Perfect for business or special event

Went for lunch...my wifes birthday....its a wonderful restaurant. Starting with the understated entrance, a beautiful dining room, even the elegant bathrooms, you will not be disappointed, it is both comfortable and welcoming. And the food....its the best.....from the place settings to the food presentation, its astounding. It is expensive, but worth it.

We spent two weeks in France for our anniversary. We had dined at Paul Bocuse in Lyon, Lameloise in Burgundy, L'Assiette Champenoise in Reims and a number of other 2 and 3 Michelin star restaurants in those areas. We had only one night in Paris and I had spent months researching and trying to find the "perfect" Parisienne restaurant. I... More
