Friends and I had dinner and Wadja on Thursday 17 November 2016. The restaurant is situated off Blvd Montparnasse in a quiet street and close to Vavin Metro station. Mushrooms for starters; scallops and egg plant for a main; and a cheese platter to go with a bottle of Bordeaux Red. Service was excellent and waiter was professional and polite;... More

This is my 7th time to visit Wadja and it continues to be my favourite restaurant to visit while I am in Paris. The food is exceptional, the service is first class and the ambience is perfect! See you again soon!

If you're in the Montparnasse area, or even if you are not, don't miss the opportunity for a meal at Wadja, a reasonably priced restaurant with a young chef to watch. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3-course dinner, which starred delicious and creative dishes, starting with the little amuse bouche, a tiny bowl of creamy leek and potato soup accented with... More

We came here based on good reviews and weren't disappointed. We don't speak French but the waiter was happy to explain the menu for us. The food was outstanding, very nicely presented and fresh. We opted for three courses and walked away extremely full. It was a great meal.

This is worth a visit. The 25-year old chef is original, creative, and talented. Our courses ranged from cod fish arranged to look like shrimp, delicious chicken stuffed with mushrooms, an amazing vegetable plat du jour, and deserts with fresh fruit. The menu is constantly changing to reflect what's available in season. The owners are very efficient and accommodating. Our... More

The most amazing taste experience I have EVER had. The beef and potatoes were to die for. The chilled beet soup, the courgettes, amazing. The wine, unbelievable. Highly recommended the charming restaurant , for anyone looking for an amazing food experience.

Yes! This is a gem. Nice owner, beautiful simple atmosphere. Great Pouilly Fuisse, and the menu is very original with great ingredients. Enough choice also for vegetarians. never had pineapple sorbet, with hazelnuts, basil and olive oil... I can still taste it..

We have been coming to Wadja for years. We used to live in Paris and frequented it about twice a month. Now we make the effort to come back whenever visiting Paris and it hasn't changed. It used to have a fantastic value midday menu which I am not sure it stil has. We visited last week and the set... More

My girlfriend and I were actually looking for a different resturant and unable to find it we asked in the hotel across the road. When told the resturant we were looking for had closed the concierge recommended Wadja. We are really glad we took this recommendation as the food was truly excellent. The friendly waiter was kind enough to explain... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
