A Good experience with this restaurant opened 20 years ago and discovered only few weeks ago... Here's some point to summarize the ranking. Good points : - The good atmosphear (it is definitely not for a romantic and quiet diner) - The food : we are not in a traditionnal West indian or African food but something modern with a... More

Hola fellow travelers .recently during my stay in Paris ,I visited a well known west african restaurant . Sadly ,I personally was disappointed with the spot. First my reservation was forgotten (called three days in advance for a table of ten.) secondly,me and my 9 Guest were switched to a another table hidden in the back .thirdly, the service was very... Dear Mr/Ms Stify S - Thank you for your comment ;-) African cuisine also requires expertise, is labor-intensive, and needs patience: our chef, Lady Fatou :-), spends many hours preparing dishes and stirring sauces; the result, as you said in your comment, is that the restaurant is well-known and was full when you came. The Bissap juice is certainly not... More

Second time at this restauant and still very impressed. The venue is super cozy and intimate. The service is very kind and observant, but not at all interfering with you and your friends. The food is amazing and heart warming. I need to visit everytime I go to Paris

I was very disappointed. I did not like the food, it is original but not delicate. It is not normal to pay 50 euros and not to delighted by one plater on the menu. Vine Chinon and the ice cream was fine. The place is nice but the waiters are not friendly at all. C'est un restaurant pour bobos, prêts... More

Pour Maelle de Pontault Combault : un autre point de vue : "A most enjoyable and unique experience. Visited with friends from England and their 3 year old. Even after a little accident with a mirror- courtesy of the 3 yo!- all the staff couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming We were worried that arriving at 7pm would have... More

Ate here while staying in the area. Lovely atmosphere, although I had to get my phone torch to read the menu cos it was about on the dark side. Interesting menu featuring a range of African dishes that we didn't know much about - but were happy to experiment. We both had chicken dishes which were rich and plentiful and... More

Very tasty West African food, interesting cocktails and nice atmosphere. It is a little bit difficult to find it but once you do will be very happy for your choice.

I had dinner there yesterday and enjoyed it a lot. The place was busy with young waiters running from the kitchen to the tables and it was packed with a joyous crowd of customers. The room looks nice, in a kind of Brooklyn-style way which goes along the laid-back atmosphere. My boyfriend and I ordered pepe soup (fish soup, quite... More

We stumbled onto this African restaurant in 11e. The service was good, we had the sea bream grilled with sauce and shrimp dish. It was excellent! Loved the plantains! Wine list was limited - wanted a glass of Chardonnay but it seems they only had Sauvignon Blanc.
