We booked on advance for a Friday evening meal at 8. I like a beer before a meal..the choice was between a Paulaner or a Dutch white beer. Decor is v basic...maybe this is hip but it looks like v little effort is made. It's a small bar / restaurant with a limited menu and a bit overpriced. The atmosphere... More

I friend of mine recommended Le Lindon en Laisse and it was one of the best meals from our 2 week trip to France. Everyone (staff, Manager/owner) was so helpful and kind. We all (4of us) ordered different meals and we all were extremely pleased! I hope to go back to Paris one day, and when I do, I will... More

Our visit was actually in the summer of 2014. We found the restaurant on trip advisor and decided to try it. We were extremely happy that we had made the decision. All of the food was excellent and add flavor nuances that we had never experienced before. The owner and his friends were warm and welcoming and the atmosphere was... More

This is our 3rd trip to Paris and also to le Dindon. The setting is quiet and the staff is wonderful. You can tell by the clientele that this is a local "Cheers." My wife and daughter split the chevre salad with the mushroom raviolis and the pork/ asparagus. I tried the ham assembly appetizer. It was here that I... More

This little restaurant is set back on a side street which makes it great for sitting out on the patio. I found this restaurant using Tripadvisor and asked our concierge about it. He was very complementary and said it was indeed more of a locals/expats place. We started with the Goat cheese in filo and we were not disappointed. My... More

I have a small group of friends who come to Paris regularly and we each make a point to visit Le Dindon en Laisse every time because it's just that wonderful. I have a friend who goes nuts for the Cassoulet and I myself am a big fan of the duck breast. I've tried many dishes over the years here... More

Myself and my wife are regulars at Le Dindon en Laisse however we took one of friends who was visiting from Brazil. As always the food was tremendous and to the standard we have came to expect. I'd recommend anyone visiting Paris to dine there, you won't be disappointed. Best kept secret in Paris!

Very chill, cool place! Very unpretentious, and fantastic food. Good service too. Had a cassoulet that totally hit the spot -- at least 3 different kinds of pork products in it. :) Blonde beer was super-refreshing on a warm nite. Fruit crumble must have had crack cocaine in it as I needed more and more. I recommend it. (visited April... More

This is a small, unremarkable looking restaurant on a nondescript street in the Bastille area. I would never have ventured here if it had not been for the rave recommendation of our friend and some other partners at her law firm. We arrived early on a rather chilly April, Monday night and there were only 1 or 2 other diners... More

Happened to walk by with my boyfriend on our way to another restaurant and decided to cancel my reservation at the other place on a whim. Best decision ever. This is one of those places where the clients know the restaurant owner and come to hang out. The food was absolutely delicious. We had the duck (a must!) and a... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
