Just went there with my girlfriend after TripAdvisor recommended it to us. Unfortunately when we arrived it was closed and renovations were going on, despite TripAdvisor saying it is open right now. We wasted time walking there and instead went to an Exki nearby. Sad!

We tried Kintaro Lamen for lunch. It is located two blocks from the main street m, thus you do not easily bump into it. Still the place was full of lunch eaters. They have a wide selection of Japanese food. We tried the Ramen and Tonkatsu. Both tasted great and was served in large portions. For being an fast food... More

Apparently you can order real ramen noodles for extra, but it comes with what tastes like pasta noodles. I got the miso ramen (broth was good) and upgraded to charsiu and added corn. Came out with regular pork and no corn. I asked for it to be amended and the woman just shrugged at me. I flagged down another waiter... More

We were delighted to see a great selection of real Japanese food (stuff you would only find in Japan - natto, katsu curry, etc.). After moving to Paris from Japan (and not being able to find this stuff at the places in our neighborhood) we honestly felt like kids in a candy store! We had inari, gyoza, chahan, and (of... More

There's always a line. The threat of the line makes impatient people leave, weeds out the unworthy. Because the wait is somehow never as long as you think it'll be. And once you're being ushered into the dining room, loud with the sounds of pans sauteeing and rich with the smells of cooking and spices, seated between some strangers whose... More

Increadible cheap and good meal in the heart of paris. And the desert there is lovely (matcha mochi icecream and flan)

Excellent quick and easy lunch meal. Cheap and delicious. Buzzing restaurant but great and fresh food. Two people are for 20 and it lasted us the whole day nearly. The ramen noodle dishes are amazing Will try to go again

Great value extremely tasty Japanese. Generous portions. Yaki udon was very slightly sweet and deliciously umami. Veg ramen broth very tasty, deep and clean flavour, crunchy fresh veg. Place full by 12pm, understandably so. Excellent.

The menu was appealing with its choices and the ambiance was a reminder of Japanese ramen shops. We were three persons. The eels on rice were rather good. The disappointment came from the other dishes. The raviolis were very bland and tasteless; they came with a salad that had not a drop of dressing where we would have expected something... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
