Food... Prior criticism saying its bland and uninteresting is totally accurate. The food I had was ok for average, everyday restaurant food. Nothing special. Preparation was average (note: not below average... Experienced travelers know the difference). Presentation was also average. Atmosphere: average. Service: average. What...More

This is the definition of average. There was nothing wrong with dinner. It was just boring. The atmoshpere is bland. The service was fine, even good. But that couldn't make up for the just plain 'boringness' of the rest of the experience. Luckily we were...More

We booked a deal on La Fourchette which seemed to be good value. But when we got there and ordered, they had not explained the menu to us very well and ended up ordering dishes from the wrong selection. They never explained to us that...More

If you book this place though a site which gives you a 50% discount, it's worth going as the asian fusion food was good. The location is prime. But without this magic 1/2 discount, I'd say it would be overpriced.

Don't go to this restaurant if you want to have a nice dinner or not so expensive. Food is OK but too expensive for the quality. Wine is not at the price level. If you really want to go then be aware that you should...More

I was nervous after reading the reviews, but I would have no problem returning to Mood, especially with the deal we got when booking at La Fourchette. Try the steamed dumplings, they were yummy. The wait staff was very friendly and accomodating. The cocktail I...More

Had dinner there last week. Mains arrived cold. Very average food overall. As we booked our place from la fourchette, we got 40% discount. Wont recommend and wont return again.

We went back to this restaurant after an absolutely wonderful dining experience we had there in 2009. I don't know whether the restaurant has changed hands in the meantime but it certainly wasn't the place we've remembered. The lovely interior is now hardly a shadow...More

I work nearby and I have been to this place several times for lunch but I won't go back. The menu is "out of date", the claim having a quick lunch that they stopped serving months ago but this information is not disclosed anywhere (which...More

Off the Champs-Elysees, across from the Louis Vuitton store. Tries to be trendy, the staff really tries, but the main reason for going to a restaurant is the food. In this case I can only say: do not go here for food. Not worth it....More

This area is characterized by its namesake avenue
which extends northwest from the Louvre to the modern

Triomphe. Grand embassies stand among impressive
offices and presidential palaces; architecture from
19th century Universal Exhibitions, homes, art
galleries, and 19th century streets designed by Baron

Mood is one of the highlights of the many places to dine and hang out on the Champ Elyses. Opposite the Louis Vuitton shop and Fouquet's , it really is the place to be. Mood stretches out over 3 floors and 1000 m with several themes depending on the area. A mixture of oriental and western cultures have influenced both the dcor and the cuisine. Using fresh local products and exotic spices the chef Baptiste Drocheiner creates inventive and colourful fusion food. African, Asian and Eastern influences as well as traditional French cooking all have their place. Try the warmed goats cheese with sweetbread and roasted figs or foie gras stuffed with chestnuts and raspberries. The first floor provides an oriental haven away from the bustle of the Champs Elyses while the mezzanine hall area has a more trendy pop atmosphere. On Friday and Saturdays around midnight the restaurant becomes more of a club with a DJ playing funk, soul and house.
