The restaurant is conveniently located near the main shopping area of Galleries La Fayette. The staff were welcoming and the restaurant had a nice traditional decor. We had read the reviews before coming and thought that the prices would be reasonable, we were surprised though how expensive the vegetarian dishes were compared to the prices in the UK. The Tarka... This was not the best Indian food I have ever eaten but the atmosphere was friendly and warm and very comfortable which was very appreciated while being far from home.

Bumped into this place while walking out of La Fayette Gallery after shopping. Just walked in after a tiring day and we were treated to good Indian food at reasonable rates. We ordered Naan, Butter Chicken and chicken Madras. The food was served very quickly and was prepared well.Staff is friendly and courteous.

Me and my family were in Paris for vacations. It was a good opportunity to taste indian cooking. We really appreciated this place, dishes were good , expecially my sons discovered the mixture of tastes from the indian dishes.. People here advised me in a good manner, at the end I was satisfied! Fair prices.

We went back the next day to repeat fabulous dinner! We met a very good friend from India, who was able to guide us through menu. Must have: lentil soup and onion appetizer! Attaching a photo of great dish; heart in the middle is one of the best sweets I ever tried! Mild, and wonderful! Owners and staff were also... More

We went for dinner. The food was good. Hubby had the thali and I had the chicken grill, which was like a fajita with Indian spices. Both were good - not fantastic. The place was pleasant. Thus, I would say the you will get a good meal, but not a great one.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
