Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I was glad my son had google maps on his mobile because vegan/vegetarian/gf in Paris isn't the easiest holiday chore to do! However, we ate in this restaurant twice once in the evening and the lunchtime the very next day. Both times we as a...family rated it a 5/5. The food was inventive and wholesome. The reason I gave 4/5 was because the draught lager was not available both days and this to an English man was a little disappointing but I had a couple of cold ipa beers which were passable lol. Overall a real vegan etc find in a city that is still a long way away from London in terms of catering for families like ours.More

Title says it all! Amazing (and not just if you’re a vegan in Paris). The best vegetable lasagna I have ever hat and I kid you not. But please don’t tell my mom though.

I was there for lunch. The restaurant is in a side street, so was a little tricky to find. The food was good, arrived fairly quick and serving sizes were appropriate. The staff spoke English, which was very useful.

I cannot fault this restaurant. The food is fresh, tasty and we'll cooked. The staff are friendly and helpful. In a city that is not yet totally veggie friendly they stand out as unashamed veggie heaven. Cannot recommend highly enough.

There aren’t many vegetarian restaurants in Paris, so I don’t want to knock it too much, as it’s not the easiest place to be a vegetarian. The food was fine, but it felt kind of like London in the 90s vegetarian food? Eg the chicken...dish was literally, some bits of ‘chicken’ some cabbage and carrots all separate. Service was pretty slow but we were sat outside. My chair was over a grate so they gave me a dog bowl (?) to put under one legMore

We were visiting Paris for a day and given that I'm dairy free, I was worried about finding somewhere to eat and being able to communicate my dietary needs. We found veget'halles when we googled and saw great reviews. Given it it was Valentines Day,...we didn't think we'd get in anywhere but the restaurant were very accommodating despite being busy. Their menu is entirely vegan apart from two items. The food was amazing, even the fizzy drinks were ethically sustainable! We ordered the mushroom pasta dish and vegan curry. Both items came with a crispy soya steak. Then ordered the crumble of the day (apple and pear) and chocolate & banana cake. I already know that if I come back to Paris, I'll definitely be eating here.More

While admittedly lacking in immediate kerb appeal, located down a side street at the less fashionable side of Les Halles, I’m so glad I gave this place a try. On a five week work trip to Paris as a vegetarian I’ve mostly self-catered (salads from...Monoprix) and I’ve eaten as many restaurant pizzas as I’d ever want to already, so to find somewhere that does good vegetarian food in Paris was a treat - and it was hiding in plain sight, not 200m from my apart-hotel. The mushroom terrine with onion jam was wonderful (with chunks of fresh crusty baguette). The mock “poulet” with steamed cauliflower and broccoli, brown rice (topped with crushed nuts and pumpkin seeds), some sort of spicy aubergine/lentil mash, and a ginger sauce was really very good. I finished off with the sesame tiramisu. Several vegan choices (my first two courses were vegan if I remember right). “Formule” menus very good value - I was only charged EUR 21 for the three courses, though a large carafe of house red did add EUR 17 to the bill. I’ll be back!More

Good food. Good choice of vegan and vegetarian options. For me, nothing insanely creative in terms of vegan fare, but tasty and got the job done.

It’s hard finding veggie places in Paris and this one did not disappoint! Varied dishes with plenty to choose. Such a friendly environment, definitely recommend to my fellow veggies out these! Brilliant service too!

My wife and our baby daughter were on a 3 night break to Disney (a very un-vegan friendly place). On the last night (Saturday, which was my wife's birthday), we chose Veget'halles as we were spending the day in Paris and we had hardly eaten...for 2 days. We got there around 9pm and the place was busy, which was a good sign. The staff were very friendly and spoke English, which relieved the pressure from my poor French! The menu was amazing. As vegans, we are used to having one or two options, but we could almost have the entire menu. We ordered including a hommous starter for our baby. The food arrived quickly and we were very impressed. We shared dishes and nothing disappointed at all. Deserts were also amazing. The prices were good compared to Disney and some other restaurants we looked at, but the whole experience was fantastic. Highly recommended restaurant, food and service. If you're a vegan and visiting Paris, don't miss it!More

One of the best vegetarian/vegan restaurants in Paris. Very tasty, different options for soy free, gluten free, vegetarian, vegan, you name it ... my favorite main course is the eggplant with basil and for dessert: sesame tiramisu! It’s delicious! They also have a good selection...of juices and a small wine menu. The service is super nice and attentive. It can get pretty crowded both for lunch and dinner. So better make a reservation.More

We were amazed to see a vegetarian restaurant in cental Paris so went in for lunch. The fixed prix lunch was good value, but lacked flavours. It tasted a bit like a 1970's British veggie resturant rather than 21st Century french.

The seitan steak was perfect (and it’s not easy to make it well, usually it’s too soft and soggy) and the mushrooms sauce was just right. The mushroom tartare entree with onions am was well made as well. For desert we ordered apricot crumble and...chocolate hazelnuts cream. The crumble was very good the chocolate one could be improved. Nice service as well.More

Good points: so good to see in central Paris! Good value! nice atmosphere too. Mushroom loaf with ginger and blackbury was good. Humous and tapenade starter was very good. Weak points: don't expect full flavour modern veggie. Some dishes lacked style/kick... and needed more of...a French boost perhaps.More
