Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a small bistro close to Louvre, which is less touristy than some of the other places in the area. It serves classic French food appetizers, mains and desserts, with wine pairing as recommended by the owner. The food is OK but nothing really...special, however, the people working there are very friendly, which makes it a pleasurable experience.More

Ordered a cot fish, duck breast and onion soup. Onion soup was bland and diluted, Cot fish was over-cooked and bland. Duck breast taste average too. Overall 5.5/10. Can find a better place for dinner with this price

We loved the food and service. This was a great place for Parisian food. The restaurant was a quiet and comfortable place. There was another couple from the US in there but many locals too. I had bream with ratatouille and my husband had steak...and au gratin potato. All was delicious! We had mozzarella, salad greens and tomatoes for an appetizer. We had the 5 small tastes of dessert with coffee. We thoroughly enjoyed the food, service, and atmosphere!More

We loved everything we ordered! There's plenty of food for kids and teenagers. I even overheard the table next to me rave about the cheeseburgers. Everyone at the restaurant HUSTLES! They move from table to table like efficient workers but still manager to stay very...warm and friendly. We enjoyed everything we ordered. Perfectly cooked steak, well seasoned chicken, and even cokes from the bottle! It's well worth the cost.More

Came by with my family after visiting the Louvre , and my local Parisian friend also joined in. We were all quite impressed as the quality of the food is top notch. Service is great too. The servers are accommodative, polite and efficient in the...way they conduct the service. Book ahead if you can as the place filled up fast even on a winter weekday when we were there.More

Maybe this restaurant was having an off day, but our food experience here can only be labeled as mediocre. Unlike the pictures one sees of generously spaced tables on the restaurant’s website, our tables were jammed together with patrons practically sitting on top of each...other. We ordered French onion soup, steak tartare, and beef bourguignon - all French favorites that we thought would be delicious. Unfortunately, the soup lacked any rich beef/onion flavor (it was quite watery), the steak tartare was extremely bland, and the beef bourguignon did not taste at all like a Burgundy wine based stew and contained only two small pieces of carrot and no mushrooms. We have eaten a lot of good French food over the years and this was some of the most poorly prepared we’ve experienced. Although the staff was very friendly and accommodating and the service prompt, the food was wanting and has made one of the top five on our “don’t return list”.More

We are terribly disappointed to have not been able to satisfy you. However, we put all our energy into offering authentic cuisine made from fresh seasonal produce. Maybe another time to convince you?

We really loved it here! The staff were amazing. They were all smiles the moment we entered. All of them were so friendly and attentive. The food was good too and reasonably priced. We had escargot, onion soup, and cote de cochon. If I lived...in Paris, I’d love to be a regular at this restaurant.More

Typical French bistro in great location but not as pricey as other local restaurants, and from what we could see better quality. The onion soup was lovely, and was how I was dreaming of it before getting to Paris after not being in France for...many years. The steak I had was lovely and the dauphinois potatoes beautiful and my wife’s chicken was lovely flavour also. Staff were great, very friendly and helpful. Only one small complaint could have a little larger beer menu- not a lot of choice! But besides that fantastic and would go back when in ParisMore

Came here after the Louvre which was a short walk away. We were very hungry and the menu was very attractive. prices not too high and service was fast. I recommend the small cockerel and also the cheese burger. Even with a rude table of...guests next to us the staff were attentive to us and all guests. I recommend reserving a table beforehand though.More
