Went here one night cause it was local and looked interesting. You can't find a restaurant owner with more passion for his food anywhere on the planet! Fluvio wants you to "close your eyes and experience" the first bite . . . he truly cares. Fluvio reads and describes each item from the chalkboard menu. Be patient and enjoy the... More

Visited this restaurant on 4 July 2016, based on some of the positive reviews posted on Yelp. What a disgusting experience because the proprietor, who some have described as delightful, was the most narcissistic, rude, and aggressive person with whom I've ever come in contact. The chalkboard menu was largely illegible and needed to be deciphered. Without pleasantries, the proprietor... More

Paris is a city of exceptional food. Fulvio's is the antithesis. An incredibly mediocre (being kind) meal for one person with a half bottle of very ordinary Italian wine cost 92 euros. It consisted of a salad with some pieces of shaved artichoke, a non tender veal scallopini with pasta in an uninteresting "al a vodka type" sauce and a... More

We went to Fulvio with a local friend who hadn't gone since 1997, an ex neighbour of the restaurant. Obviously things change as do people, but he was pleasantly surprised. Fulvio was there, very warm, genuine. The food was good, it was the lunch menu, and at the risk of getting used to the amazing food of Paris, versus Chile... More

My friend took me there on a Friday night because saying that it was probably the best italian place in town . Having spend some time in Italy & Sicily , I have developed a great interest in italian food . The restaurant is located in a quiet street . The place is cosy and have a warm atmosphere. The... I'm Italian so I know god food when I taste it and this is some of the best. Any pasta dish is good and too much for one person. You have to try the Tiramisu . Go!

If you are craving pasta, you absolutely cannot go wrong with Fulvio's restaurant. The extensive and amazingly varied menu (more dishes than seats) is not something to be looked at--it must be performed! And Fulvio himself does so with brio. The origin of this, that the squid ink pasta is of course homemade according to their recipe, the ravioli with... More

Went in from the street for a late dinner with my wife and two kids. While we were looking from the window at the full restaurant Fulvio, the owner created eye contact, lifted 4 fingers with a question mark and when I nodded yes, invited me in. He walked us to the last available table-and disappeared for about 15 minutes.... More

This small, delightful restaurant offers a great dining experience for anyone interested in fine, authentic Italian dining. They accommodated our large group (about 12 people) with no problems. There were five main course specials to choose from--all delicious. In typical Italian fashion, this is a place where you can relax with friends for an hours-long, memorable experience.

Staying in Le Marais

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
