It seemed as there were new owners and they were getting the hang of things. For instance, they couldn't find a 250ml carafe. No problem - I got through 500ml. Decent food, excellent tarte tatin. I hope they do well.

Very close to the Pantheon, this little gem of a restaurant was fantastic. The menu is quite small and the food is freshly made so be prepared to wait, but your patience will be rewarded because the food is outstanding. Particular highlights were the asparagus...More

This was a classic tiny little place in the Latin Quarter. You'll enjoy nice conversations with your neighbors. We'd had some high-end gastronomic experiences on our trip, so this place was definitely more homestyle, not haute. However, it was delicious and cooked well. The service...More

Small but outstanding restaurant just up the street from the Pantheon. Main courses were cooked with perfection -- we chose the monkfish and duck breast. Excellent service.

Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life,
architectural splendour and ongoing merriment. The
small streets are filled with classical buildings,
student bars and lively eateries while the squares are
dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined
by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin
once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which
celebrates the great men and women of France. During
