I had the €16 menu. The first course was a baked camenbert which came with a fresh salad. This was the highlight of the meal. The main course was the cassoulet which was very authentic but also a bit bland. The creme caramel was a disappointment with straight out of the fridge, cold, creme covered by a slightly burnt, and... More

Good location, very clean and nice atmosphere. Limited choice of beer- a slight disappointment. the food as far as i was concerned was okay ( but i don't like french food) however my partner was very happy. it would be unfair to penalise for my personal preferences.

Great lunchtime menu and excellent value at 16 euros for 3 courses. I had pumpkin soup followed by steak and of course creme brulee to finish. My partner had the mozzarella salad, cod and panacotta. All first class with great service. Recommended.

Came here as a couple during our first evening in the city, staff were friendly even though we spoke minimal French, we both went for the €16 for 3 courses menu, I had the pumpkin soup, sirloin and creme brûlée and my girlfriend had the Camembert, cod and brûlée, certainly no complaints off my girlfriend but my steak was a... We had Cassoulet with Gizzard salad, both delicious. Excellent wait staff, friendly owners, lovely interior. We stayed nearby and went back to eat several times. Memorable meals. Our French was minimal, but we had a waiter who spoke English, quite helpful. If we are ever in the area, we would go back. A Rick Steve recommendation.

Our travel guide highly recommended this restaurant but we had so-so service and food not up to French standards.

Enjoyed the atmosphere. It was still cozy even though it was very busy. I had the 3 course lunch. Reasonably priced & well presented. Camembert for starters was lovely. The steak was too fatty for me but the men on the next table polished theirs off, so maybe it was just mine or they weren't as fussy about fat. Other... More

Friendly. Fast. Authentic. Food is magnificent. If you're in Carcasonne, a must! The back of cod and baked Camembert are absolute must-tries.

It was all wonderful. We stumbled upon Restaurant Adelaide on a dark evening last spring, after wandering around the magical walled city. The fragrance of the cassoulet wafting in the air drew us in. The interior is charming and rustic and cozy. Although this is, of course, a very touristed spot, the staff was personable and helpful and the service... More

We had Dinner on the first occasion, lunch on the second. The restaurant gets very busy (on our first visit we had to wait outside for almost half an hour until they had a table for four), but is quieter inside than many of the other Carcassonne restaurants. The food is excellent and the service friendly without being intrusive. Excellent 3... More
