Have been here twice. No need to book in the evening. Good service and food. Great selection of dishes.

We had been recommended this restaurant as a must visit by friends. We choose a Friday evening mid October which we thought would be a good time as out of season but not in the dead of winter. There were only four tables occupied out of probably 60 so we rattled about but that wouldn't have been a problem if... More

Very well budgeted, recommended by the Michelin institution restaurant which offers some very typical but well prepared meals. I had the lower price menu (23€) with a tartar of salmon for starter, which lacked some black pepper and had probably too much sauce. Then i had a rabbits leg, with amazing mashed potatoes and very good vegetables and for dessert... More

Plentiful, reasonably priced food with good and attentive service, the cassoulet is very filling. We had dinner here in the garden, it was all good

The restaurant is in a large two level barn like building tastefully decorated, but almost empty when we were there on a Tuesday evening. I don't know why it was empty because the service, the meals and the wines were all excellent. Traditional food with some flare. I had rabbit and foie gras terrine and cassoulet, both delicious. We were... More

Just round the corner from au Domisiladore, food and wine great, prices good. There is a garden to sit and eat, or a spacious dining room. They cater for parties, a good place to go if you are going with a group.

This restaurant is mainly visited by locals. We haven't seen many tourists. The kitchen is all round, as well starters as main dishes and desserts were of high quality, The combination of flavors, the portions and the design of the dishes are excellent. Improvement can be reached on service. No interest on attending the table (the wine is opened without... More

We visited on a Tuesday evening with reservation which had been handled efficiently. The restaurant was very quiet – there were only 7 other customers (we were 4). It seems to be a nice restaurant but was totally lacking atmosphere – it needs people. The servers seemed to be efficient and well trained but they were much too serious and... More

My husband and I had the Menu Clos Occitan at 23 Euros each and we have only good things to say about the food and service. The starter salad was quite interesting and good; the main course of salmon was very, very good, and the dessert of a vitrine of tiramisu was pretty good but not wonderful. All in all,... More

Good and varied menu. We had the fish menu, what a treat everything was beautifully prepared and very tasty, service was good, wish it had been open for our first night in Carcassonne, would definately go back again. There is a large outdoor eating area but it wasn't warm enough when we were ther so we ate inside.
