Entrance to this restaurant is up a narrow alley. There is therefore no "view" or external presence other than some tables in the alley. Some might find it claustrophobic, others, charming. It is a favourite lunch stop for us. Service can be rather hit or miss but the food has always been excellent bistro type fare. On this occasion the... More

Excellent honestly priced good quality food of the region. Menu options for main course, main and or starter/ dessert or all three. €29.00 for three course meal. Well sized meal, not excessive. Glasses of wine or bottles available to suit price range. Limited menu choice ( 4 options per course) allows focus on quality dish.

A fantastic experience. Worth seeking out. Deep and rich tastes. Slowly cooked food with great flair, entrees on slate dishes, Bourgogne fromage - superb. Go for the better wine- the food deserves it.

Our first choice lunch venue was closed and we chose this place out of the many we walked past as it looked atmospheric inside and the fixed price menu seemed good value. We were not disappointed. Goat's cheese and fig with honey wrapped in a crispy twist of filo with a well dressed green salad was followed by a nice... More

Fantastic restaurant located down alley with lots of nearby competition to keep it sharp! Charcuterie starter very generous—glad we shared. Mains: veal in coconut (Thai-inspired) sauce was excellent. Sauce very well judged and balanced. Fillet steak nicely cooked. I prefer a little more seared character on the outside but it was very tasty. Mediterranean herbs on potato side dish clashed... This restaurant was recommended by the person who sold us our house but sadly it took us 2 years to get there! Finally we arranged to go with friends and I was enthused by all the good reviews. Although it was a nice evening, I was a bit disappointed. On arrival we were offered a small apero of meat so... More

Our hotel recommended this place as authentic Catalan food. It was amazing! A very quaint restaurant situated on a small, quiet street (in fact, it took a bit of time to find it). The wait staff were awesome, helpful to explain preparation of the food. The proprietor came and introduced herself and she was lovely and you could tell right... More

Really great food, great wine, excellent service. We went on a late September Tuesday night, there was only one other table occupied, but the menu and decor looked inviting and the food was stunning. I had foie gras starter, lamb main course and we couldn't manage a dessert. Excellent wine selection, everything that is good about France was happeninhg here,... More

I asked a fruit seller on the market about a good place to eat, and he recommended this restaurant. What a pleasant surprise! Food (and I think its the most important thing in restaurant), was delicious. Manifique! My taste buds were in heaven. We took menu de jour for kids (salad and taglliatelli). I mean, what can you do with... More

We ate here during one of the busy "Jeudis" in Perpignan - when the whole city is full of locals and tourists enjoying the many street entertainers and live bands. Not surprisingly, our first choice of restaurant was full, so we wandered through the old part of the city looking for somewhere else and ended up at Le Barathym -... More
