We had the €32 Gourmand menu and it was fabulous from start to finish. Definitely worth a visit if you're passing Perpignan old town.

Lunch at Le Saint Jean is really well worth it. The prix fixe 3 course menu at 19€ is excellent value. All three courses were superb. We were lucky with the weather and sat outside in a courtyard adjacent to the Cathedral. A beautiful setting. Attentive service and a good wine list too. One to be recommended!

This is a classy restaurant. We had the 32 euro (or thereabouts) menu and the veal was to die for. I gather this has to be more than 100 characters but the first sentence says it all!

We had both a lunch and dinner here at this fabulous restaurant on separate days and they were 2 of the best meals of our two week stay in the Languedoc Roussillon. Set menu de jour was €19 for three courses and the evening set was €32 for three courses. We opted to have the paired wines with our evening... More

Le Saint-Jean is situated next door to Perpignan cathedral and boasts what must be one of the most glorious exterior architectural settings almost anywhere in France, with medieval carvings set into the surrounding walls and huge overhead buttresses spanning the cathedral and the restaurant walls. What a pity about the food and the service. We were a party of three.... More

Just had a meal here. We stumbled upon it having passed by many other eateries and were not disappointed. They serve wine from their own vineyard - Mas Divin - and they cooked the steak as requested well done. The gazpacho was divine and great service from the owner. This place deserves to go from strength to strength. Come and... More

Quaint restaurant almost underneath the arches of St Jean Cathedral in Perpignan. I last visited this restaurant in about 1988 and it was good, well respected and in the hands of a well known regional wine maker at that time. It was excellent and I remembered it with affection. We were in Perpignan today on one of those rare very... More

We came upon this restaurant by chance and decided to try it because we liked the look of the set menu. We are so glad we did. The service, food and wine list were all excellent. The cooking was of a high standard, delicate but with wonderful flavours that worked, without being overwhelming. We ate on a Saturday evening, when... More

This place is so charming, with his patio outside by the cathedral. The food was excellent, and the local wine as well. The gentlemen were super nice with us and our little girl. We strongly recommend it for everybody who want a nice dinner in Perpignon.
