Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

As soon as you get inside, the smell of subtly balanced spices brings you to Morroco! The setting is warm and really authentic reinforcing this feeling of change of scenery 🕌 You will be welcomed and served by the very kind owner, attentive and discrete....A couple of us chose the Maklouf veal tajine (tomatoes and onion confit). It was woooow ! The tenderness of the veal the subtle mix of tomatoes slightly acidic and the sweetest of the onions... And not to mention the fine semoule and its delicious taste. Actually, no words could describe the feelings you will experience, you just need to try this place...More

I never write reviews, but wanted to write this one, because of circumstances we were not able to tip, despite the fact that we wanted to do so after this lovely meal. So a non-monetary tip it will be. The restaurant is not very big,...but the food is delicious ( I often go for the tajine, but the meat skewers are equally tasty). The service (by the owner?) is great, despite the fact that he is usually the only server. Portions are big, so enough to enjoy again at home. It is a bit warm in there, but that might be because we ordered mint tea to go with the sizzling boiling dishes. Last but not least it was very affordable.More

What a gem! Tucked down a quiet street, this beautiful little restaurant feels like you are eating in someone’s home. The food is fresh and delicious, and the service friendly and efficient. Don’t miss it! Recommend booking however as it’s a well-known treasure!

Excellent food. Their Moroccan couscous is delicious and the offer of a digestive at the end of the meal was very welcome. The decor is also lovely and very traditional. Only downside is that my napkin was definitely old and needed replacing (literally shredded on...one side). Also despite air con it was still desperately hot in the restaurant as the door was left open. A very good and enjoyable meal overall.More

I was treated a to a birthday surprise the other night at Le Ksar, surrounded by family and friends, and had a wonderful evening. I ordered the couscous royal which was served with vegetables and different meats. A fantastic evening. Highly recommended if you are...looking for an authentic Moroccan meal.More

This place is fantastic. The coucous and tagine dishes were wonderful and the restaurant itself is very pleasant. We look forward to going back!

We were a party of nine eating in a Moroccan restaurant for the first time. It was very good and everyone was happy with what they ordered, a mix of tangines and of meat skewers, all served with lovely couscous. The couscous had a very...fine texture and was served in abundance. Those who ordered skewers felt they might have been shortchanged as the skewers were heaped onto one serving dish of couscous to be shared by everyone who ordered them. There didn't seem to be the number of each called out on the menu. Would eat here again, however, as the food is very good. There was also Moroccan wine and beer on offer. The restaurant filled up fast and there were many take out orders as well. Clearly a popular place.More

You should be carefull when you say something. Claiming that skewers were missed on your couscous, without beeing sure is not fare from you, and really dangerous for us. Why didn't you speak to me when you was there instead of bla bla bla softy...More

In Toulouse visiting my daughter and she recommended lunch at Le Ksar. This was probably one of the best places she's recommended and one of the best meals I've ever had. No crowds for lunch but I hear it gets crowded for dinner. The place...is not much to look at from the outside but the food was absolutely delicious. The Cous Cous was the best I've ever had! My wife ordered the slow roasted lamb which was just wonderful, and the rest of us had lamb, chicken and several other things, all of which were amazing. If you like Moroccan food, or just simply want to try something different, then I would strongly urge you to try this place. The portions are huge so bring your appetite and enjoy an absolutely delicious meal.More

Well located in Toulouse, parking a little difficult but OK. All tables were taken and we were glad we reserved. Portions were large and i had the Lamb Tagine which was really nice and tender. No issues with going again.

Delicious lunch. Huge portions, well flavoured, long slow cooking of lamb. Waiter was one-man show -- charming, efficient, friendly. Would go there time and again.

Book ahead as the room is rather small . The food is absolutely divine, the selection of starters was nice, fresh and full of flavours, my lamb tagine was literally melting in the mouth, with a very fine couscous grain. Desserts and mint tea were...also extremely nice. Would recommend to friends .More

A drizzly night. Le Ksar was fully booked. A queue was forming for people to collect takeout meals. Yet by some miracle of generosity, the chef and maitre d fitted us in and plied us with a very generous Kefte cous cous, Moroccan Rose wine...and beer .... the meal was delicious, melt in the mouth couscous served with a tasty broth and generously flavoured kefte. Don't quibble about the decor or that it isn't central - just go and eat, you won't be disappointed. Oh, and book ahead. Just to be sure ...More

I like to say that Toulouse has two types of cuisine that compare well to New York City: French and Moroccan. Ksar is Toulouse's best Moroccan restaurant. The owner is super impressive -- the place is very well run, he will probably be your server,...and he might share a shot of liquer with you at the end if you're nice. The food will be delicious, and there will be more of it than you can eat.More
