This place sure has a winning formula with queues out of the door. Considering that the only meal is steak and chips it was disappointing although tasty. The steak is precut into thin stroganoff-style strips of good quality and the chips are rather too slim - a grade up from pommes alumettes; so, pre-blanched and refried they are rather greasy.... The quality of steak was alright but good for price. They served simple salad before the steak and it is alright. I couldn't understand why they sliced the meat so thinly but overall it was good with sauce. Wine wasnt that good but again good for the price. Good to visit for casual dinner with friends or family .

I will never go there again! We wanted to eat there and were 10 persons. As we arrived, we were only 7, 3 persons wanted to come later. The waitress did not want to let us sit at the table since we were not the full number. There were 2 old people above 80 and she did not want to... More

Usually you have to queue outside, which may make you afraid ... but it's just the sign that people come back despite of this. Really good meat, and excellent desserts (I recommend the "Profiterolles").

I really had to eat here again on my return to Toulouse. This place really is so popular that on certain nights the queue to get in is very long but when you do eat here you can see why. There really is no menu as the starter is salad and the main course is steak but you certainly will enjoy it.The... This restaurant has a good hype for its only entrecôte menu. But its supposed strength turns up to be its weakness. The meat is indeed of average quality, also the wine list is restricted to a single (low quality) choice. You get filled up with all-you-can-eat French fries, unfortunately these are so full of oil that can't even keep their... More

Don't be fooled by the long queue outside the restaurant around 7pm when then open. There is only 1 menu. Walnut salad, Fries (free flow) and Main course (steak) for €19. Wine and desserts are separate menu. Service is prompt and almost curt. Overall it feels like an American dinner style. You can go there if you want some cheap... More

There's only a few things on the menu here and only two ways to cook the steak. The waitress doesn't ask what you want to order, she adks" How to you want your meat, rare or medium rare?" The meat is delicious, especially with the herb and butter sauce!

The steak and fries are excellent. Not fine dining, but good stuff. Love the sauce on the steak. The salad is also good. Recommend the House Bordeaux, it goes with the steak perfectly.

Description
The unique menu remained unchanged since the beginning. This formula is composed of a decked slice of sirloin (170 grams) accompanied with french fries and its famous sauce. His son Henry, opened in a restaurant in Toulouse in 196,2 Bordeaux in 1966, Nantes in 1980, Montpellier in 1990, and finally Lyon in 1999. These restaurants are characterized by scots and black mural decor, a yellow topping and a lemon hostesses with black and yellow apron. The exterior is embellished by yellow and black blinds vertical stripes for a best effect !
