We had a reservation for La Petite Auberge and were quickly seated at a table at this very busy restaurant (and it was a Sunday night, so often it is hard to find a food establishment open). The inside of the restaurant reminded us of a place in Quebec City (Aux Ancient Canadians), not a right angle to be found... More

If you want to taste real French cooking then visit here: snails, frog's legs, veal, delicious sauces, gorgeous desserts and the friendliest service. They offer several fixed price menus from 18.50 euros to about 30 euros which includes starters, main, a cheese course and a dessert. The problem is getting a table, either book in advance or turn up on... More

This is a popular local restaurant near the restored church of St Maclou. We had booked in advance and for me it was a welcome return. The food is excellent and the service is friendly and professional. However, patrons will not expect to dash in and out on a quick turn-round. We arrived at 19.30 and left at just after... More

We stayed one evening in Rouen and found this restaurant in Rick Steve's guide. We were able to walk to it from our hotel. Overall we had a very nice dining experience. Service was excellent and food was excellent. It is a smaller restaurant and was full of lively, interesting and fun people. Would definitely dine here again.

Got one of the set menu. Frog leg, duck breast, and molten chocolate cake are all delicious. Cheese tray has extensive choices. Friendly services. Very reasonable price. Tight seating though. Highly recommend this place.

Our hotel recommended this restaurant. It is not in the busy squares or city center, but just a short walk away. At the time it opened for dinner at 7:15pm, half of the tables were already reserved. The place was packed within an hour. We had the langoustine and escargot for appetizer. Both were good though not great. The fish... More

This is our second visit to this place and it was worth the effort. Small but good atmosphere serving typical food. Excellent escargot, foie de veau and rognons. Not too expensive.

Ate outside on a warm September evening. All the staff are very friendly but not intrusive. It's a tiny place and was absolutely full but seemed calm. Lovely atmosphere. Food is excellent and they have some nice wines. I couldn't recommend it highly enough.

My wife and I went to this traditional French restaurant on the strength of TA reviews and we were not disappointed! My frogs' legs were delicious starters and I know that the meal is good when the main course comes along, my wife says "you're going to have to help me out here" and ends up eating it all! Really...
