This is one of the best meals we had France and the restaurant is less than a year old. The host runs the bar and waits tables, the hostess does the cooking, you do the eating and then do the "wownig". For a wonderful dinning experience attention to detail is key, knowing the wine list is key, serving the customers... More

On a warm Monday night all the tourist and student bars were full but this place just five minutes off the beaten track was not. Which is a shame for them as they deserve more business but meant we got great service. The salmon starter was delicious - a slight sweetness from the figs just made the dish. My turbot... More

We visited Minute & Mijote at 7:30 on a Monday night and had the most wonderful experience. It was our last evening in France after spending a year here (mother, father, 2 daughters 10, 12, 14) and it was one of the best of our year. It's not inexpensive (180E for dinner) but was absolutely wonderful, using local ingredients in... More

Excellent food - well cooked and presented. The chef did half portions of the delicious steak for the children (which they loved). The owner was very tolerant of the kids and despite the noise (we had 4 under 8 with us) & made us feel very welcome. Recommend.

This has been the best meal collectively we had in 4days in Rouen. All four of us had great starters, entrees, and deserts. The fish, veal, and steak were perfectly prepared. The restaurant is well set up to provide a comfortable and intimate setting. A young husband and wife team served, cooked, and bussed with amazing precision. We thoroughly enjoyed... More

We were greeted by the host/waiter and seated immediately. He spoke excellent English. The restaurant was not crowded on a Wednesday evening, so the service was excellent. My wife had lapin, which she deemed excellent. I had the frog legs as an entrée and the beef with Dauphinoise potatoes as my main course. We did not have dessert. Portions were... More

What a great find, in a city packed with eating establishments this little gem truly shines! A quirky little restaurant full of charm and eclecticism, cosy and welcoming. The menu was small and perfectly formed and the food.......delicious! The proprietor was extremely helpful and charming, recommending wine to have with our meal and assisting with the menu due to our... More

We went looking for good French Cuisine, and that's right what they do at Minute&Mijoté! They offer different menu options, we tried la Formule Complete, with an starter main course and dessert for 31€. They adviced us in the wine choice, and we were very happy with their recommendation. Daurade with a local typical sauce from Dieppe and Brandade were... More

For dinner: First of all we were happy with the wine recommendation. our entree was tomato gazpacho with mozarella and it was the best I've ever had even thought I was in spain before! My brothers main course was filet de beauf with mousse de pommes de terre and mine fish with salad it was absolutly delicious. So we had... More
