Large choice on the menu, pasta, pizza, local dishes. Something for everyone. Never disappointed. Highly recommended.

We found Le Duguesclin by accident when wandering around Cognac. We were drawn to it due to the amount of locals queueing outside the door and the fact that it was packed once we saw in the window. We managed to get a table for two inside and were presented with a vast selection of choices on the menu. I... More

Eaten here 2 now since our stay. 1st time for a quick bite before heading off for a Guided tour of Remy Martin. We chose Galettes, with Egg, Cheese, Speck & Onion which was very tasty. The dish was under 10 Euro's which was great value for money. We visited again in the evening as it was raining & we... More

We visited this restaurant for a quick dinner in the evening. The service was performed quickly and the pizzas tasted excellent.

A lively restaurant great for the family for an informal lunch or dinner. Mainly pizzas but some steaks and pasta dishes and a childrens menu. Very friendly efficient service and not expensive.Good choice

We just visited Cognac for the first time and needed a quick lunch. It may not be the best restaurant in town but if you want a family restaurant that provides a good cooked meal, this is the place.

Although the meal was ok, I ordered a whisky-Coke as an aperitif, but when it came the waiter served me with a whole bottle of Coke with the measure of whisky. On my departure I asked the manager why this was and what should I pay for the whole bottle when I only needed a dash ? He replied that... More

A good restaurant, just off of the main street, with a great selection of well cooked and well presented dishes.

Lovely galettes washed down with the local rose. Try the chocolate mousse and isle flottante- they were worth the visit alone. The service is friendly and welcoming. Full of locals so they're doing something right. Decor out of the 90's tho but not that important. Fresh well made food.

Delicious deserts, great service, good atmosphere, large portions, great prices. I had chocolate and Chantilly cream crepes, which were to die for. The mains looked good, but we had just had dinner and only went in for desert. I would go back.
