A taxi driver recommended us this restaurant and he was absolutely correct. A lively place, well located, and delicious pizza.

Eat here last Monday 21st May 2018. Nothing special yet quite expensive, limited menu ( Pizza seems to be everywhere in Aix & Avignon ?) I had 'Filet au poivre', the steak which came smothered in pepper sauce served with Chips was about the standard...More

Chez Jo is one of the few restaurants in Aix that never seems to change. The menu features good thin crust pizza, typical Provencale fare such as pieds paquets, a daily dish (pork roast the day we were there), salads and pasta dishes. A bustling...More

The range of pizza is limited, but very, very good and lives up to the anticipation that you gain as you enter the restaurant and are faced with a magnificent central wood-fired oven. This is a bustling lunchtime favourite in Aix and is nearly always...More

Service is a nightmare, long waiting time, everybody has to order a dish, unfriendly waiter “cinque personnes, cinque plates“, left the place without eating

Finally one restaurant, where locals go! Great service and authentic food. As mentioned in other reviews, the place is a bit crammed but otherwise but it is worth trying. You better come early to secure a table for lunch.

Allways good and friendly, have been visiting Chez Jo for over 25 years. Try for a table outside as it can get a bit warm inside (pizza oven). Don't worry about the noise outside, it's always like that. One of the best in Aix

This restaurant was packed with locals. The menu is not elaborate but all items are fresh authentic and delicious. We had pizza cooked in front of us in a wood fired oven and fettuccine carbonara. Very friendly service. I will certainly return.
