We stumbled across small restaurant merely because it was close to our hotel. I am never to sure about restaurants in such a touristy places however this was a sheer delight. Beautiful prepared quite simple food and very pleasant helpful waitress. We loved it.

Great Dinner! Great Waiter&Chef! Great Spot! We went for the 3 course menu plus coffee and wine and I would do it again. Dinner was good, you can talk and enjoy the company while not bothering other customers. Tables are maybe a bit small but everything fits on them and this is enough. Waiter was great, mosquitoes were biting us... More

This restaurant is located slightly away from the main tourist trail but has a great view of the Roman arena - the food is superb and the owner is the best ! - she is attentive and helpful. You need to book to ensure a table.

This restaurant is small, but the food is delicious. I'm always cautious about restaurants being too close to a major attraction, but this restaurant did not disappoint and the owner was caring. I highly recommend it.

My husband and I ate dinner at L'Ecrin, a small restaurant that sits across the way from the Roman arena in Arles. We enjoyed the large, fresh salads that have all kinds of small bits of veggie mixtures and cheeses. I had the lamb ribs which were beautifully presented, richly seasoned, and finished with a mustard sauce. So good, and... More

We happened on this spot when walking around the coliseum on our last night in Arles. The menu was posted and looked good so we sat at table on the terrace. Our server was very friendly and helpful since our french is pretty terrible. We ordered three courses and a carafe of house wine - super good food, great ambiance... More

Quite possibly. Our B&b host, who is a chef himself, recommended this restaurant and we were so happy he did. Located near the arena, this small restaurant- which I think is run by a couple-she waits, he chefs- is charming and the food is excellent. We are used to 'local/sustainable where we live in Northern california-, but this restaurant takes it... More

Although the menu selection is small by North American standards (which is fairly common in Arles), there was enough choice for us. We were rewarded with delicious food beautifully presented. The appetizer was a wonderful combination plate of slices of baguette with melted cheese, roasted peppers, tapinade, pesto, and sauteed mushrooms. Our one main was roasted duck with grilled vegetables... More

Wow! This is a great find in a town too full of touristy mediocre restaurants. We had an excellent meal, in a charming atmosphere, with attentive service. We walked out feeling like we had struck gold! Our three course dinner was beautifully presented - so lovely to look at, but even better to eat. The moderated price (70 euros for... More

Loved this small restaurant recommended to us by our hotel. The lady serving was charming and the chef who seemed to be working on his own did a grand job. The three course meal was reasonably priced and delicious. My husband cannot stop talking about the chocolate fondant dessert, which he absolutely loved. A very pleasant evening.
