Fresh, light, and delicious lunch with great wine. The service was also great - super friendly. Highlight was the dessert: a mix of raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, and candied orange - a real knock out.

Nice, original and tasty dishes paired with a good glass of wine on a terrace under a big tree. What do you want more? This was our favorite lunchtime tapas place in Arles. however, make sure you are early because places are limited and the place is popular. No reservations possible.

We had been wanting to try this new restaurant from the Arnal brothers for a while. We loved the location & the outside ambiance but it pretty much ended there. When we finally got a table we sat there w/ dirty glasses on our table waiting for menus & the offer of a beverage. Getting the menu & placing our... More

This place is ensconced on the slope leading up from a narrow road near the Roman theatre ruins. It is a perfect spot and the facade of the restaurant is very airy, open and inviting. I believe all the food comes from cans, but it is very high end canned food, with squid, sardines and salads. A great place to... More

Our family of five enjoyed a lovely tapas lunch here. The outdoor seating is a pleasant shady setting for enjoying a cool glass of wine and freshly prepared little plates of salad, cheese and cochon.

This little restaurant is in front of La Cloître hotel. It serves tapas to both local and tourist patrons. Service is friendly, the food enjoyable, with a japanese tone (sake on the blackboard menu even) and a range of chiiled wines to quench the thirst from the summer heat. The site slopes so care needed when positioning chairs!

My wife, daughter and I visited L'ouvre Boite on September 10th for lunch. We had booked a fantastic private day tour with Sebastien Lopez, owner of "I am Not a Tourist." Sebastien is an Arles native and knew just where to take us for lunch. The chef/owner of L'ouvre Boite, Alexander Arnal, saw to our every desire and prepared 7... More
