This little cafe is situated just outside the Palace of the Popes. On a sunny day the square is filled with life and music and this is an ideal place to sit and soak up the atmosphere. The service is friendly, the prices reasonable and they do a great Ceaser Salad .. Yum 😊

When the waiter found out we were only going to spend about 30 euro, he told us to leave. This was mid-afternoon and there were few patrons at the cafe, so it is not like we took a table away from waiting people. We just wanted a snack and something to drink but that was not OK with this waiter.... More

We stopped for a late morning coffee at this pleasant looking cafe with a great view of the Palais. We payed with a 20 euro note but the waiter brought back change as though we had paid with a 10 euro note. He also didnt bring the bill back with the change. We politely queried the error but this was... More

My partner is white. I'm Asian. We decided to stop off for a drink on a hot afternoon and sat outside near the edge to people watch the square. A male waiter was serving in our particular area. 30 minutes we were still waiting as he deliberately ignored us and served other people around us, cleared the tables and took... More

Visited Avignon for the day with 14 other family members. Found this place in the square for some lunch and drinks. Various things on the menu, had a good english speaking waitor so he could translate a few things we didn't know. The food came out very quickly, although having a mishap with one of the menus it was quickly... More

There is nothing special about this cafe except its great location---right at the heart of the main tourist traffic!

We stopped in for some lunch and were pleasantly surprised by how nice this place is. The restaurant is located right in the heart of the square by the Palais des Papes so we figured it may be an overpriced tourist trap. But it was actually fairly priced and the food was excellent. The service was a bit slow compared... More

We stopped in early afternoon. It wasn't lunch time yet, they were half-full. We were seated in the back, which is fine, because it was quiet there. Nice retro design. We all ordered coffee, tea, etc. and a croissant or other snack. Everything arrived quickly, coffee and tea were plenty hot. I was pleased by this, because we could see... More
