We had a wonderful afternoon meal at this cafe. It is self-serve and staff will heat up any dish that needs to be heated. A nice variety of main dishes, side dishes, and desserts. The portion sizes were perfect. We ate outside to enjoy watching...the people pass. The staff were extremely kind and helpful, especially a young gentleman that I did not catch the name of. Food was tasty!!More

We found Vivotto totally by chance and my Gluten Free wife thought she was in heaven. Our apartment was located about 15 meters away go we made our selections and cooked at home as we really needed a down night. The selection and quality of...the offerings were amazing. We arrived in Avignon at 9 in the evening. The perennial problem: where to find reliable gluten-free food? A quick internet search found great reviews for Vivotto. We ordered risottos and they were delivered within 20 minutes by Deliveroo. What a treat! Perfect delicate risotto...Sicilia and a robust risotto Calabria - outstanding quality and taste. We have struggled in France to either find lovely little places like this or even gluten free options at restaurants. When you ask it’s seems like you are inconveniencing people. This isn’t a choice it’s a medical necessity. So when you find a great place...like this you remember it and tell others. The food was great. The concept of self-service of different combination of menus is superb. Despite the very affordable price for a lunch, the food was excellent and the staff is very helpful and friendly too. Vivotto is a great concept - choose your own pot of delicious food from the chiller cabinet, have it heated to eat there, or take away. Heaps of gluten-free choices (I am coeliac) and the food is really delicious, fresh and a pleasant change from...some of the heavier traditional places around.More

I only stopped for a cappuccino, but Vivotto Caffe was a delightful find in Avignon as it was in a quieter area of town. The cappuccino was excellent as was the service.

Ate here twice at lunchtimes, as a majority of its options, if not all, are gluten free ( I am celiac). You select pots from the chiller, each of which lists ingredients, and are handily labeled on the shelf with whether it is vegetarian and/or...gluten-free. Options include lasagnas and risottos ( that get heated for you once purchased), salads, and some wonderful desserts ( the tiramisu is to die for!). My go-to for an easy and cheap lunch in Avignon!More

Food prepared in glases. A really nice idea because you don’t have to wait to long. It is a bit like warming what u got from your mom what was left from the family lunch the day before. The food was not the best and...not the worst. They’re saving a bit salt but for that price of a menu u can’t complain. It’s fresh prepared food. Sitting outside is really nice. No cars just a pedestrian zone with another restaurant and a cosy surrounding. Self-service but the stuff is really friendly.More

We enjoyed breakfast at Vivotto two days running in August. Fresh coissant, home made fresh juice and coffee in lovely surroundings. We enjoyed watching the world go by as we enjoyed our breakfast.
