Located in the main avenue with good outdoor seating this Café offers the most sophisticated pastries in town, a little bit pricier but worth it. The bread or croissants is less of interest. Take a seat on their wooden veranda, a single espresso and an "Amour" macaron, a delight. Also serves lunch and high quality ice cream.

When this place first opened, I thought. Why not, they have omelettes, croque-monsieurs, salads and even the plats du jour for the hungrier ones out there. There is a terrasse out front and a patio to the side. So far, so good. I must mention this place does patisserie, I know quite a few people go there to pick up... More

Good and classic : pastries , éclair, lemon or tropezian pies etc . We can eat on the terrace or indoor but, so, take away. The owner said the chocolates are "fait maison" but the taste is common as from an induastrial fabric. In Menton, the Laloue shop is the best but the French adage " au royaune des aveugles,... More

A quiet cafe with nice pastries along Avenue Verdun in Menton (beautiful Main Street with a lovely central promenade). Eat inside, along the sidewalk, or in a pretty flower garden alongside. We had an apple turnover, almond bar, a cappuccino and a latte for 12,40. Quiche was available as well as many other menu items.

Called in here during a busy afternoon of Carnival... The cafe was clean, service was quick and the cakes were excellent. Found it reasonably priced

Highly recommended by one of my friends, my boyfriend and I made our way here on our first morning. Whether you are a local or tourist, this is a MUST go place. There are a lot of different pastries, macaroons, chocolates and other desserts. All of then we have tried were just delicious!! (Especially the fresh, light, and flaky croissants... More

My girlfriend and I came here on our last morning in Menton and I am so glad we did. The cafe is really great; very bright and welcoming. They serve incredible pastries for the morning: croissants, chocolate croissants, croissants with chocolate on the outside, almond croissants, along with an array of others. Each one was better than the next, and... More

I don't usually give poor ratings, just never bother going back again. But the one time I ate here, with a large group of friends, left a sour taste in my mouth because of the poor service from what I imagine was the manager. Food was so, so.

We had lunch here and considered it one of our best meals in our 2 week stay in Menton. (We have also eaten at 2 of the top 7 rated restaurants). My husband had the Hamburger Maison, and I had the ravioli special.

I made the mistake of choosing Pâtisserie Laloue for a light lunch. As I was about to start my lunch, the manageress (?), who clearly has an attitude problem, informed me that as I was alone, she would have to move me to another (smaller) table should other customers arrive. Fair enough, but the restaurant was virtually empty at the... More
