Friendly atmosphere and great French breakfast. If you become a regular the staff can be quite engaging! Best spot in Nice for people watching!

A new chef! Finally something that is increasing the quality of food! Until some month ago the restaurant was not my favorite, but now that a new chef is working I would say that the Civetta du Cour found a new interest. I suggest to take always and just the dish of the day: very high quality at a medium... More

We found this little restaurant while taking shelter from a cloud burst whilst exploring the market. Staff are friendly, and engaged in quite a bit of banter with us and their other customers. We had drinks and a light salad of Fresh tomatoes and mozzella, with bread and oils. Having enjoyed our 1st visit we returned later in the week... More

I had Osso Bucco with gnocchis... the gnocchis were really tasty ... the Osso Bucco was as tough as my boot . On a sunny winters day its a delightful spot to soak in the sun and watch the passing parade....but the food really didnt pass the test.

This is our favorite people-watching spot. You can grab food or just grab a coffee or tea and sit outside and watch people at the market. We always stop here for a cup of tea after some walking. Seeing the locals as well as the tourists mingle at the market is wonderful. The tea is great and the service is... More

We went in for a mid afternoon drink and to watch the world go by. The service was reasonable and so was the price. We felt it was a reasonable to stop off for a drink.

Stopped to have 3 drinks: Aporal Spritz for 22 euro. Enjoyed the stop to rest on a sunny day. Nice service. Busy pedestrian street.

We generally go to Civette for aperitif on Saturday , lunch time. And if it is sunny, this is one of the best places in town. To see the time goes by... Most of the time we take a charcuterie platter ( I prefer the Corsican one) with a good bottle of rosé. Prices are correct, service is great. Thank... More

While strolling Cours Saleya we stopped for a carafe of wine. Good service, okay wine, but the price tag was double everywhere else we've visited during our month long stay in Nice.
