Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had a very good dinner at this restaurant. From Trip Advisors reviews, we expected good food, but a much bigger bill. Food was well prepared, tasty. Service was attentive but not intrusive. It was a good value.

We booked this last minute and weren't sure what to expect but it exceeded our expectations.. The food was very decent but the service was above and beyond... The female waitress was simply a tour de force. She runs the place single handedly and yet...you never feel like you are waiting... Whatever they are paying her is not enough.. Very cute decor and ambiance. Would definitely recommend! Ps they have space age toilets 😂More

A friend advise me this restaurant in Nice and we had a delicious diner ! The waitress was so kind, available with excellents advices (I ask about a white wine and she ask me to try one : just delicious... and we order 2 glasses...:) The appetiser (a watermelon gazpacho with shrimp and lime) was fresh and original. It come with a good funny local bread (looks like a hand). Our plates were just perfect ! The first was an amazing fish (a bream) so tasty served with funny local yellow zucchini and a delicious mashed potatoes with olive oil and tapenade :)) The second was a very good beef cheek’s stew with pasta. Both were very copious... but we order a dessert for 2 : peaches in syrup with strawberry. And it was a good idea : fresh and tasty ! Our best restaurant during our stay in Nice ! :)More

The restaurant was recommended by the manager of the hotel we were staying at and he was spot on! Both the restaurant owner and his staff were friendly and welcoming but most of all, the food was stunning. We were a party of 4, each...of us ordering a different meal. All of us enjoyed the food immensely.More

This was recommented from Tripadvisor and the hotel. Nice place, friendly service, but really odd food. Also from taistewise. Lot of vedgies which was good, but for ex I took first sardines in vinegarsauce. There was no vinegar but the sardines were so hard that...one had to get the skin off to be able to eat it. Figure it out how you do it in a bowl where it was served? I had my granddaughter with me - and she was with me in hotel which recommented this restaurant...there was nothing even close suitable for children. They were nice enought to make her small risotto and chicken breast at the price of 25€.... My main course , also 25€ , should have had grilled squid, but it had not seen the grill and and it was like gum. Really hard to chew. And in the 25€ portion there was only tomato sauce and little bit of fennel . So, no. Can not recommend .More

This wonderful little gem is nestled in a little side street just outside the old town, and is located a short walk from there. The restaurant itself is very quaint and nicely decorated. It is fully air conditioned and plays pleasant music. All in all,...a lovely atmosphere. The food is simply incredible. As a pre-starter you are given a small dish with a 'soup of the day' type thing. They are delicious and a nice touch. Along with this provide complimentary hot and fresh bread. Another nice touch. As far as the menu is concerned, it is fair concise but covers all bases. There is a selection of four or five starters, mains and desserts. Unfortunately the duck breast was so good that we had it on both of our visits. But it was genuinely delicious. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients and it is easily visible that the chef cares about his craft. For dessert, we had panna cotta and creme brulee. Both gorgeous. The wine is generally more expensive than the average, but it is also fantastic. It is worth noting that the menu regularly changes to reflect seasons and availability of ingredients. Please do yourself a big favour and come here on your visit to Nice. Merci!More
