The venue is great. Old, warm, handsome and inviting. Service was warm and efficient. The food was good, not spectacular but honest well prepared decent food. The price was very reasonable.

Restaurant has been in the same family for over a generation and is a quite charming dining room. Hostess was friendly. For starters, we had a Carpaccio of Bresola which was average the other a Asparagus with scallion goat cheese & chip. Which was tasty but a little too much scallion, kind of overpowering.   We each ordered the same... More

The relatively new terrace at Auberge des Seigneurs offers both good food and a spectacular wiew - if you get the right table. As usual, both service and food are elegant in this traditional restaurant. And there is lots of air where you sit with a wiew over the valley.

We've always been too rushed or on an uncertain schedule that we've neglected to call ahead for a fire roasted meat. This trip, we vowed to do so and were not disappointed. The open fire roasted chicken was to die for, service was exceptional, and the venue, in the walls of historic Vence, is simply grand. This is a great... More

The BEST chicken you will ever eat! You have to order chicken before you go because they only roast enough for the evening! Very fresh! These people work HARD and you can feel their passion! Hard to get in, so don't expect to just walk in one evening and get a table. You eat outdoors, and it is LOVELY, but... More

This restaurant has been serving delicious roasted meats, chicken since 1941. We have been coming here for 30 years - and while the menu has changed to be less heavy - it is still consistently delicious food with an amazing view outside or cozy interior if you eat indoors.

If you're in the area you must go. The owners, a mother and daughter with her husband cooking in the kitchen, are so charming and warm. So is the room. They have a huge fireplace that takes up an entire wall where they roast your chicken. You have to order an hour before your reservation if you want the chicken.... More

This restaurant is across the road from where we stayed, and served excellent quality food at reasonable prices. The maitre'd (a woman) is terrific and has a great sense of humour.

This is a very old, beautiful building which is atmospheric. We ate outside on the verandah which had lovely views over the valley. The owner and her daughter are charming and efficient, and happily let us try to converse in French with them even though they speak very good English. The food was spot on - nothing fancy, but just... More
