The Lilas Rose is a very atmospheric restaurant next to the Thiou - not as obviously touristy as those with lots of outside tables along the quais. The interior is decorated with old advertising signs and posters. The menus and carte are reasonable and service is swift and friendly. This was our third visit for lunch and we again chose... More

A good old looking restaurant (coming out of 70s&80s but oldies are goldies) with a classy menu which its classy dishes are well known in the French Alpes & Swiss Riveria. Tables are close to each other and there is a fire stove inside restaurant. Service is fast & friendly. Sure, they speak l'anglaise (English) but you might need a... More

Lovely restaurant in the old town, lots of alcoves so your table feels private. We had the perch which is thoroughly to be recommended.

We did day trip to Annecy (4 people and 1 dog) and arrived at 1pm so wanted to have some lunch. As we have a medium sized dog we looked at places wt outside seating (even though it was pretty cold). When I queried whether we could have a table outside as we have a dog , the waiter replied... More

I went there twice with few friends and i had nice surprises. Nice and traditional location where we tried several different dishes. For me the best dishes are: - " pierre feu" which are 4 different meats cooked at the table on hot stone - the Tartare - cake home made All for reasonable price, it worth a visit if... More

Stopped here for a small bight to eat while exploring the town. We sat outside, and even though it was October, and slightly cool, the ambiance the view and people watching were worth it. We both had onion soup and it was very delicious and very filling. Of course, always accompanied with a 50cl of local wine. The service was... More

A beautiful setting by a canal. It is very busy so try to book a table near the window. The staff are friendly and the service is good. My husband and I ate the local perch and the traditional dish of tartiflette.(potato, lots of cheese and bacon) It is baked in the oven and is very filling. Including wine it... More
