Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Fantabuloso!! If you don't want to be disappointed on food, drink and atmosphere.. this is the place to go. We couldn't have felt more welcome. The atmosphere was just perfect. Our visit to Chamonix would not have been the same without our visits to BigHorn....We loved the burger so much (bangin' coleslaw and chips) that we came back again for another. The cocktails were out of this world. Dave hasn't stopped telling people about the BigHorn special 'Old Fashioned' (with the homemade chocolate/toffee dime bar looking thing on top!). Expresso Martini pick me up's and spicy margarita zinger's... just too good. Recommend the Prawn salad for something lighter. We were lucky enough to try most of the in-house made deserts and honestly struggle to recommend one as all were equally delicious. Just make sure you save some room! Big shout out to Uncle Tuts, what a delightful encounter. Can't wait to visit again. Peace out 😁More

Stumbled upon this place for a quick drink and then decided to grab some food. Sadly it was between service so no problem, got another drink and decided to rethink. Then the staff all came and sat close to us clearly on their break and...eating what looked like the most amazing food. The decision was made. We’d wait. It was only around 1/2 hr to food service again. Well thankfully we might the right choice. The food was brilliantly fresh, great range of choice, delightfully presented, and it just tasted great. We had prawns to start, a Cajun salmon salad, and another salad with the tenderest of tempura chicken added. Wine and cider were the drinks choice. Everything was reasonable in price and it was so good we’re going back tomorrow.More

Fun little place recommended by our driver. We had time before heading back to Geneva so we stayed and had a drink after dinner and had a nice time. Staff was chill and welcoming. Dinner was great.

We had such a great time when we went here. Great selection of beers, even better cocktail menu (spicy margarita and espresso martini not to be missed). Staff were so friendly and we loved sitting at the bar chatting with them and other visitors. We...also had great food here. Burgers are amazing but also plant based options (rare in Chamonix). Highly recommend, though book a table for food.More

Went for a dinner with my son. The place is really busy with super nice atmosphere. Service couldn’t be better. Food is fantastic- spicy cauliflower popcorns are to die for and the ribs just melt in the mouth. Highly recommended.

We went for my son’s birthday meal. Reservation was made via WhatsApp and high chairs for our youngest 2 were available. The food was excellent and the service very friendly. I made some very specific requests (for my diet) and they were obliged without a...problem.More

Can I get a B-I-G HORN! The trumpets are sounding off for this wonky joint. You want burgers, they got burgers. You want bread with cheese, they got that too. The drinks remind me of home back in Scotland, strong and sassy. When you walk...in ask for Tootsie, he runs the joint and is a real guys guy. His uncle Lou has a beard the size of Santa clause, CHOO CHOO!More

Deserved to be number one in Chamonix restaurants. Really good at normal prices. The desserts were outstanding and main dishes as well.

I only had a "snack" dinner as it was late on Sunday night.... Despite kitchen staying open to accept my late order, the staff were very friendly and attentive, the service was great, Sasha and Gabriel made me and my dov feel like VIPs :-)...I say this because from experience, late walk-ins often receive moody & impatient service...especially on the main tourist drag. I got served the BEST fries I've ever had (Parmesan Fries) and succulent tasty crispy fried chicken pieces... that were served on a bed of assorted salad leaves (not just the cheapest form of lettuce..... which many restaurants (again usually on the main tourist drag) serve up in their over-priced salads! Top quality food and service for very reasonable price. Note to self: go for Sunday brunch next time!More
