Le President, a chocolate cake that looks like a sculpture, is the trademark item of this chocolatier.

I enjoyed this place, we bought chocolate and then went to the cafe for a coffee and more chocolate. The quality is quite good, but I have to admit some others are better in Lyon (out of respect will not name the brands). The service in the chocolate place was great, the service in the cafe was fine, but the... More

It's a bit of a walk from old town area but worth it. Not cheap but excellent chocolate and desserts. First visit the patisserie and try different items then go next door to the shop and buy some gifts. Lovely service as well.

This is a trully amazing chocolate/cake shop. The cakes are really fantastic and some are just out of this world, and the prices reflect that. The shop makes its own chocolate, of course, and it is famous for this. As for the coffee, well, that is not anything special I am afraid. On the day we visited there were two... More

People are so focused on buying chocolate at Bernachon that they often overlook the elegant restaurant and coffee shop right next door with the same name and operated by the same family. I certainly was unaware of it until a friend recently suggested that we go there for lunch on a weekday. On the south side of Cours Franklin Roosevelt,... More

Take away shop and a cafe beside it. Beside Metro Foch. If you can stop in the cafe, order the hot chocolate -because you'll get nothing like it in the English-speaking world. The specialist cake here is "L’éventail".

Our friends bought us some choc from Bernachon Lyon. It is the best chocolate ever! The taste, texture, package and presentation is second to none! I would highly recommend this shop to anyone!

As a foodie, I couldn't leave France without a quick stop in Lyon. While the rest of the food in town is good, the chocolate at Bernachon is the best that I've tasted. Since they produce everything on site and locally, you are likely never going to find this chocolate elsewhere. We had the petit fours at their cafe --... More

This is a high end chocolate/pastry shop. We ordered hot chocolates and a plate of mixed petit fours. The hot chocolate was good. The plate of petit fours turned out to be a small stand with two plates containing about 8 small pastries/biscuits/chocolates. All very nice but nothing outstanding.

This place is Michelen rated and the treats are delicious. We had 2 cafe cream and a plate of treats at 10:30 am. A pot of hot frothy milk was in attendance. C. Franklin Roosevelt is a nice street for window shopping.
