What a lovely person, who helped us out even though they were closed. He spent his time calling a taxi for us & calling again when it did not arrive. He explained about the music festival & let us shelter from the rain. He spent time with us although his guests were gathering inside. If the food is as good... More

my husband had a stomach problem and ended up having D. I also had a bit of pain after food, but in my case the pain went away soon. We have no idea what might have gone wrong because there was nothing wrong in the taste. The food was very good, presentation was very good, service was good. All good... More

Hello. I am sorry about your stomach problems and I am surprised about it because we use only fresh and local food. I hope everything is OK now You could have asked for the drinks menu to the waiter because there is one. but maybee it was very crowdy. I hope you've had a nice time thought More

My car overheated on the hill and I had to stop in front of this restaurant. While waiting I decided to have early dinner. Service was friendly and the food was excellent.

We ate a late lunch here just after visiting the Gallo-Roman Museum. The sauté bouef was great, especially the mushrooms. Sat outside, nice location and good people watching. Very enjoyable.

Probably the only time on our entire France trip that we were refused to be served by a restaurant because we only wanted coffee and not food, despite it being 2:30 in the afternoon and practically empty. Amazingly rude.

I came upon this little restaurant as I walked down from the Fourviere Basillica and the Gallo-Romain Theater and saw people sitting outside on a little deck under some trees. Quaint and somewhat local looking. The very friendly waiter didn't speak much English, but I was able to order some water, Chardonnay, one of the lunch specials, and dessert. A... More

Absolutely love Sophie, her hospitality and food was amazingly fresh. Best food we had eaten in Lyon. Came across this delightful little restaurant on our way up to the Basilica. Great way to spend a couple of hours sitting in the sun.

This is a great spot to stop for lunch if you've been exploring this part of town. There is outdoor seating in a park-like setting across the street from the main restaurant. The service was excellent and the food terrific.

We stopped here before lunch stopped being served. Usual fixed price menu as is the standard in France. Bargain. I paid extra for sashimi grade tuna with sesame seeds....delicious. Massive salad and pear clofutis for desert. We had wine and coffee...came in at a bargain €60 for the 3 of us. Just excellent. Staff were great, atmosphere lovely. It looks... More

We were wandering down the hill from the basilica, looking for somewhere to have lunch. The previous two restaurants we tried did not cater for vegetarians or were about to close (Saturday at 13.50). They were very accommodating; we had lovely (massive) salads, with bread and a glass of a local beer and, at the waiter's suggestion, I had the... More
