We were 8 colleagues walking in The neighborhood of this place and we pushed the door without knowibg what to expect First you are warmly welcome, different from any usual restaurant Then you discover a menu, that is much more that surprising (jokes, items that are completly different that what it is written) And you end with a very good... A friend recommended this spectacular place he stumbled upon coming down from the Amphitheatre. Feeling obliged to check it out I was pleased it was the other way from the tourist traps, and it looked friendly enough. It was more than friendly by the time I sat down and ordered. I was blown away by a simple dish (Chaud et... More

Went there with some friends near the end of our Lyon study abroad. Good food with a lot of options. Had some vegetarians with us, and the owner offered to make them something else off the menu which was very kind. However, their food was average in the end. Small portions. I've gone to other places that gave more portions... More

We went here for dinner on our second night in Lyon. The service was amazing and the food and its presentation was amazing! I highly recommend you walk the extra 100 or so metres and check out this place. This place is so much better then the restaurants you will find in the main street of the old town.

Went with 7 new colleagues. Felt really welcome and had great food for a fair price. Especially the creme brulee and saumon entree are recommended.

It was my third visit to Le Petit Carre with American friends and it was just awesome! The owners are lovely, charming, casual and they make you feel at home. The menu does not have a lot of items which is good because the quality is just unbeatable! I love this restaurant and its owners!

You'll get a good honest lunch here to judge by our experience. Don't expect anything smart and though they are friendly enough to tourists it is not really their market. We had a very good goats cheese salad followed by excellent pork in mushrooms. With a beer for EU25. It's a bit rough and ready but the staff are pleasant... More
