The service took about 45 minutes and then came with the worst curry I have ever tasted. It came with a tasteless sauce with a very weird mash potato underneath which costed €22.00. With unfriendly workers which loved to barge me while coming past. Total ripoff. DO NOT HAVE THE CHICKEN CURRY.

You must book for every night except Saturday. There were only 2 wait staff and their efficiency is something to see. The steak is lovely but at this price you want it to be.

Chef gets the BBQ going with a hairdryer, unusual start to a restaurant visit! This is meat lovers special, watch it being cooked on the BBQ. I also had a huge and excellent savoyard salad to start. Went twice during the week, two sittings at 7pm then 9.30pm; we were there both times for the 7pm. Restaurant was full and... More

Went for dinner last february and the food was delicious. We tried the snails and the foie, awesome both, and as a main the place´s speciality, "cote de beuf", done in the chimney of the restaurant. That was simply delicious. The staff was really kind. If you are keen to desserts don´t order that much, we couldn´t try them as... More

Very much a meat restaurant although we had raclette which was quite good. Wine by the glass was sensibly priced for Val. As many reviewers have stated tables are very close together so not the place for an intimate dinner

Great ambiance, and great food. We had the fondue and it was delicious. We were a group of 6 and had a nice corner table. but there is a fireplace and it would have been nice to be seated opposite. The service was excellent and friendly. Our group had a variety of items, scallops, liver, BBQ beef. as well and... More

This place was packed and a bit squashed in. We also got kicked out at the end as the waitresses wanted to stuff more guests in... I was in a party of eight and my dining companions enjoyed the huge lumps of meat dripping with blood juice and the gigantic raclette for three - I have never seen such a... More

Visited recently as a group of eight. Restaurant very busy. Tables very close together. Very hot if sat near the open fire. Don't go if you want an intimate dinner for 2! Several sittings. We had last sitting so were not rushed. Service ok. All chose the kilo of steak between 2 cooked on the open fire. Huge amount of... More

This was our third visit in 6 years and not much has changed not even the dated decor. The food is very good but too many people crammed in to make maximum profits. Get there on time as with two sittings you will be expected and told, to be out by 9.30 if you book for 7.30. It does feel... More
