Awesome place! You can get some good German food and the service is impeccable. They also have a huge terrace that can be covered when raining. And they have a slide!

This is an interesting large pub restaurant with its own brewery. In the cellars there are plastic covered grids through which you can see vats of brewing beer. I visited with a large group which had a buffet of local specialities. Both the beer and food were excellent. More active visitors may want to try the helical slide that you... More

This is a very strange place ! Not a typical German drinking establishment it has a huge restaurant under a glass roof which can slide open and closed, a cellar bar, a cocktail bar and - for those slimmer than me - a slide such as in a waterpark (but dry) from one level down to the next. We gave... More

Very delicious and fresh Bier to drink. With plenty of choices for German cuisine. Nice atmosphere. You have to be there.

This is a traditional German bierhaus. Tasty beer, tasty French fries, tasty meat. Nothing outstanding. I would recommend it for meeting with school mates.

Went with a group of work colleagues town for work. The place wasn't very busy but service was very slow - even for ordering drinks. As a vegan I wasn't expecting much but a German colleague explained to the staff that I could n't eat meat/fish/dairy etc and the chef suggested I tell him what I wanted and he'd cook... More

Beer brewed on site is good. There is the main bar area plus a number of smaller rooms which are cosy, including two below ground and a small cocktail bar. There is also a slide from the end of the bar down to the lowest bar which is great fun (like a short helter-skelter). The lowest bar has the vats... More

This is a place where you can enjoy real traditional German food and beer at a reasonable price, close to the Europa Platz in Karlsruhe. It is almost like being at one of the German's traditional beer festivals - but without the music. Nice inside with tressel tables, a large outdoor area (popular for the smokers) and a comfortable lounge... More
