Excellent food, great beer. We had schnitzel of veal, very good value for the money. We will be back next time we visit GaPa!

Several game meat options, shared a table with some other travelers, fanatic house made schnapps to end the meal.

Very crowded atmosphere and the staff is rude. The food is not worth the wait in a cafeteria setting. Zero decoration imagination and there are plenty other places in town to experience the region. The high watermark of a pleasant dining experience has left this place some time ago.

I did try this place because of the TripAdvisor rating and it was definitely on point. Went a few minutes after opening and it didn't start to get crowded until about 1230. We had a lovely waitress, couldn't have asked for better service from her.... great beer and the potato soup is a must have. Unfortunately they do not serve... More

Went here last night. Had to share a table but that's alright. The restaurant was fully booked for the weekend. The food was superb BUT ....I wanted to try the pork knuckle, that was all gone. Then I asked about the spiesbraten, that was all gone too. I was a bit disappointed but the food I had was great.

My family of 6 enjoyed some great, authentic German food here. My father-in-law and I had the veal schnitzel, which was quite tasty. The spatzle was ok, but nothing to write home about, but the salads were very good. I recommend making a reservation ahead of time.

... and not a small one. The food was excellent and so was beer and service. Without a reservation there is hardly any chance to get a table as a group of four. Book in advance!

Excellent lunch at Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Food was excellent and bit different than normal local food. Worth of trying!

This restaurant is #1 for a reason when I lived there. The food is fresh and truly Bavarian. The wild food menu selection is always delicious. It's a cozy atmosphere. Plan to enjoy your time talking and being as you will find yourself lost in time. Be sure to get there early if you want a space and if your... More

I was travelling solo and had been recommended to stop at this place if I can get a seat. I ended up eating at the Bar, but the restaurant was packed. Highly suggest making a reservation as they fill up very quickly (even on weeknights). My food was amazing, I had a great potato soup, and the main I had... More
