Great pub with a lively crowd of beer drinkers. Very enjoyable feel to the afmosphere. Some good traditional food also.

We got the address from a nice local guy, sitting with us at a table in a restaurant in city center. The place is easy to reach with tramway. The food is very tasty and the beer is great. The prices are worth to go there if you want to safe a bit. Service is very friendly and quick.

Spent an evening with a group of colleagues. This is as authentic as it gets, a loud bursting beer hall. Augustiner is the beer people from Munich drink, and it flows in large quantities here. Food was served in huge portions, suckling pig roast, sausages, kraut you name it. Waiters are a bit annoyed (not overtly though) if you're not... More

Cheapest beer we found in Munich with the same excellent standard as everywhere. Food was very good and the traditional long tables in the beer hall make for a great atmosphere

This huge beer hall offers good beer and hearty German food. Server was friendly and spoke English. Attracts lots of tourists. Food was good- sausages and cheese plate. Hells, Weiss, dunkels and pils on offer. Edelstoff nicer than regular hell. Less than 3 euro a pint, served in .5 and 1l measures. Good atmosphere. Can watch barrels being changed in... More

This place was right opposite our hostel and it was the perfect meeting place for a few fresh beers! It was great when the bell would ring as you knew a new batch of ale was coming up! 10 of us ate there one day, we didn't book and they squeezed us in. Rather than ordering off the menu, they... Had to attempt to come here twice as it was so busy. Easy to see why. Good atmosphere, plenty of beers and good food. If you do come here, I don't think you'll be disappointed. But get here early. Reasonable prices, just be careful not to eat all the pretzels, you get charged for them.

On numerous visits to Munich I have tried to get to the Augustiner Braustruben but for various reasons I have never made it. However on my visit to Munich last week I made it my mission to get there and I did and it did not disappoint. The service was efficent, the food was excellent and the beer was, well... More

This is a very busy German beer house. We visited on a Friday night and although we didn't have a booking we didn't have to wait long for a seat in the beer hall. Table service is provided here and the staff are lovely. You can also ask for an English menu. The beer is good and the food is... More
