We were looking a place for eating when we had found this cafe. The cafe has Michelin star. We tried sea bass and ox cheeks and they was delicious. Beer is nice too, but not the best. There were not many people in cafe when we were eating and out service was very fast.

This cafe is just mediocre! My boyfriend and I went there thinking it was a good idea since it is rated by Michelin, and we also saw good reviews. We were WRONG!! Came in to the cafe, no one seated us, we had to do it ourselves, that, I don't mind so much. Then, ordered our breakfast for 2. It... More

We just came in from the cold for a warming hot chocolate and were transported to a world of pure indulgence. Despite our table being reserved ( and the place packed ) we promised our lovely waiter we would not linger longer than 20minutes and we were treated with the utmost of care as if we were Royalty and not... Naturally one is always a little dependant on the efficiency and courtesy of the waiting staff. Sadly in this regard we experienced neither. Food was ok for breakfast , not really better than ok. Service was really poor and slow. Rather think will take time before trying again. 10 am reservation, no coffee even until 10.45 !! Lacked any style... More

Café Luitpold is near the Odeonsplatz, easy to get to. Place was very busy when we were there, found a "cramped" place. Service was fast and friendly, coffee and cakes were very good. Prices are a little high for a place like Café Luitpold, guess you have to pay for the name too.

The cafe has three different areas. A bar, a restaurant and a palm terrace. I went to the last one. I asked a natural juice and a cake. The waiter was very helpful and the food excelent.

Nice setting with a mix of French cafe and brasserie look. Good service and great attention to detail. Menu includes tapas (cold and warm) and more traditional restaurant dishes. I chose a couple of tapas (lobster mini bun and veal filet over a bread salad with horseradish sauce). The research Rhine the dishes is great but I have found the... More

We went on a very busy Saturday afternoon, I wanted the best Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte around and I think that is what i got, Delicious. My family members had other pastries and all were very happy. The Hot chocolate was also great. The place is obviously very popular with tourists but also locals, so be prepared for busy staff and potentially... More

We heard about their Black Forest cake and we were not disappointed. Made with local cherry liquor, as mandated by law. It was light and fluffy. We also had the raspberry tart and pistachio chocolate cake and they were also very good.

What a wonderful selection of delicious treats! It was difficult deciding what one fancied. A hot drink and cake slices after a cold stroll around Munich on a wet day was what was needed. Wonderful!
