After watching a FCB victory, we took the U over and ate at this amazing place. This cosy establishment offers high quality well presented German food. We all tried something different wurst, schnitzel, veal meat patties, and goat cheese salad...followed by a beautiful and delicious apple strudel and apple cake! It is well worth a trip. Get out of city... More

Dumped our bags and just walked by this place - what to loose - but were very pleasantly surprised! Very nostalgic as this place felt exactly like a place I used to visit a lot in my student days back in Munich - but altogether more comfortable. Real candles on table - super cosy atmosphere and superb service. Traditional fare... More

I came here with my German boyfriend on the continuing quest to find the perfect Kaiserschmarrn. I think maybe we succeeded. It won't stop us continuing though. The main plus for me is that it did not have raisins in it, which places it very highly on my list. We also had the currywurst and obatzda (both very good) and... More

Burg serves some of the best Bavarian food I've had in Munich. And arguably the best schnitzel. The apple fritter dessert was awesome. It is a bit off the beaten path, but well worth the trip. My new favorite restaurant in Munich.

This is a small, family-owned, restaurant with cozy Bavarian interior. One of the best Bavarian food restaurants I have visited (and I have been to a few). The food was great, the service was really nice. If you are in Munich and you like Bavarian food - this is a must-visit!

Very good restaurant not far from the Deutsches Museum (10 minutes walking from Marienplatz) . The menu includes a lot of typical Munich specialties and very good draught beer. The staff is friendly. Prices are good. Definitely recommended, especially you want to eat out of the chaotic confusion of the most famous central breweries.

We found this place by chance on our way to the Deutsche museum. The owner was extremely kind and the food was delicious. We had schnitzel in generous portions with either fries or baked potatoes. To finish, we had an apfelstrudel. Everything was super good.

We visited here on our first night in Munich and were not dissapointed. The atmosphere of the restaurant is lovely. We had the veal schnitzel and it was amazing. I recommend the roast potatoes rather than the fries as they potatoes were a lot tastier. Reasonably priced. I would try to book on busy nights.

We ordered basic German food. Sausage and sauerkraut along with Vienna Veal Schitzel. The French fries with the Schnitzel were very good. Basic but good
