We visited the restaurant without a reservation, but got a table for 5. Unfortunately the seating was not so comfortable, instead of chairs it was a bench without support for your back on one side of the table. They said it was fully booked, but during our dinner it was not full in the restaurant. The food was good, like... More

was in Munich during December getting together with family. We had a get together at La Rustico. There were 7 of us including two small girls. I had an Italian Grandfather so i also know a bit about the cuisine. We drank Pinot Grigio, Surgiva water and cappucino, ate the thinnest grissini i have ever seen. Those were crisp and... More

Food was delicious(I have some italian family, so, I know what real italian food is) First a vitello tonato very well served and presented than a rice with seafood; delicious and as main course a veal liver "venitiano" and to end with an Italian cream (a kind of special cake) to go with it an excellent red wine Amarone Service... Came across this while visiting a concert at Bayern Radio station a few blocks away. Wanted some good food before the concert and one of our group being northern Italian said we try this nice place. Great recommendations. Service was fast, courteous and very friendly. Dishes arrived quickly, but we never felt rush and all the dishes were prepared very... More

Off the main drag, 5 mins walk from the railway station but worth a visit. Authentic Italian, no English spoken but English menus available. Service erratic, Italian waiters like their soccer so when Munich are playing they tend to hog the big screen. Great pasta served fresh the old way, tasty Pizza and reasonably priced.

Construction on the street. Three separate entrances. That made it hard to figure out which restaurant was which, but I think they are all related. We went to two of them, with two different results in terms of the experience we had. The door furthest to the right on Marsst. as you face where the train station would be if... More

As typical, restaurants attached to hotels are not the greatest place to eat but are convenient if you are in a hurry or don't want to go out. Everything good but not great.

Most of the waiters are Italian and many of the dishes in the menu are revisited traditional Italian recipes served Bavarian style with cheese additions where it does not belong, etc. Result? The food is good, nice old fashioned atmosphere, good beer nice service. Also Pizza. Ciao!

Good food, we had a mixed salad and a tomato salad with onion. My husband had penne with prosciutto which had a very nice flavor. I had the spaghetti Carbonara. It was good but not great. The service was just ok. It was well timed but no personality. A second waiter also took care of us. Curt behavior, no warmth.... More

The restaurant was across the street from our hotel and it was pouring rain. We had planned to walk into the main city, but we decided last mnute to eat dinner close by. The dinner was very good, and the service okay. Several groups of tourists arrived which put a damper on the ambiance, but overall, it was a positive experience.
