After several days of wonderful but too filling food, we dropped in to Luigi's. Nice... a fresh and abundant Insalata Mista, crisp and yummy pizza with an end cap of panna cotta. Service was kind and swift. It shows that the people who own Luigi are friends and family of the neighborhood.

A long day of being a tourist, we stumbled upon this quaint restaurant adjacent to Viktualienmarkt and close to Marienplatz. Drinks, salads, individual pizza and gnocchi came to a reasonable price. Quality was very good, and one party raved about the gnocchi. Coupled with the very efficient, warm and friendly service and environment made for a pleasant dining experience. Need... More

We had a very nice Italian meal whilst in Munich. The food was very good, my wife had risotto and I had pizza. Not expensive and the waitress was very efficient and polite.

After weeks of schnitzel, this was a pleasant surprise. We were wandering around the Marienplatz, hungry, when this little place caught our eyes. The restaurant is small and cozy and was warm and welcoming. The food was fresh and well prepared and tasted like something a grandmother would make. Delicious, comfort food. Skip the chains that cater to the tourists... More

Small, crowded as authentic as any Ristorante in Milano - great spaghetti arrabiata, easy rose wine, just a perfect lunch in a little restaurant

We ended up eating our first and last meals in Munich here. Excellent draft beer and pizzas. They offer a number of daily specials in addition to a solid selection of pastas and other Italian dishes. The prices are reasonable, especially in light of the quality. The staff is friendly and helpful. Popular with locals.

It is surprising to find a nice little Italian place in the center of town that offers decent food at fair prices. The waitress was very nice and her service good. The food leaves nothing to desire, however it is classic Italian fare with no aspirations.
