lovely little bar and restaurant although we only sampled the beers. The owner gave us 3 half pint samples of the three most popular beers so we could choose one . Lovely decor and atmosphere would reccommend

According to the reviews, we were expecting something much better. The food wasn't bad (which in Bavaria standards puts it way down than average), but the service, pressure to order, to finish... we didn't feel comfortable at all, which messed the whole experience. Maybe it was because it was holiday time, but an experience to be avoided anyway...*

Dear Jose, thank you very much for your visit and your opinion, but we have a different point of view. We offered you a table from 11.30 until 13.00. YOU said from 12.00 until 13.00 is long enough. Within one hour we managed to serve a fresh cooked 3 couse meal, consisting of appetizer, main couse and dessert. We dont... More

This hidden gem is tucked away in the Alt Stadt in a little street off the beaten track. But, if you find it, then it will not disappoint! The atmosphere was superb and the food delightful. My advice would be to book ahead and we will definitely be back!!

You will love the authentic kitschy atmosphere here. The waitstaff is wonderful (although on our visit one was sick and service was slow, but our waitress apologized). Their bar has an unusual assortment of spirits (try a Ransom gin and bitter lemon - really delicious). The sausage/kraut starter was perfect classic Nuremberg food. You MUST have the cream of horseradish... More

We were 4 people and had a great experience at this Stube. Starters: 2x 3 Nurnberger on sauerkraut, salad with kofta and another salad with wurst; three starters arrived on time except the 4th as it arrived 10-15mins late and my friend was bit annoyed which is understandable. But can't complain on the taste though :) Main: Schauefele (pork shoulder),... More

We had dinner here with a few colleagues. We chose this restaurant because of the number one place on Tripadvisor. The food was very good and tasteful but if you want to eat here you have to make a reservation. Prices are very affordable.

Worth a visit and taking advice from the staff about their 'specials'. We had pork shoulder and it was to die for. A busy, cosy, traditional restaurant with bags of character. English-speaking staff and very reasonably priced. Booking recommended on a weekend to guarantee a seat.

The menu is not so various, which is good in my opinion. The orders came fast and the staff is nice. The meat is good but nothing special to be in the 1st position!
