One of the best Indian dinners I have ever had! The restaurant was definitely full on a Saturday night, (after eating here now I know why) but they were able to sit two of us right away. They started us off with two large pieces of crispy bread and three sauces. All yummy but the green one was my favorite,... More

We ate here during business travel. We took one of the ready menus, 27 euros for two persons. The menu included apetizers, soup, a selection of three main courses and fruits for desert. The food was tasty, service was very friendly and quick.

Very untasty food. One person of Indian descent in our group was appalled, said some of the dishes were not right, cream added to dishes not supposed to be cream-based. The chicken in the chicken dishes was flavorless and had a very creepy, spongy texture suggesting some kind of "enhancement." Bad night's sleep after meal because of a very heavy... More

If in Berlin, I always make sure I have time to eat at least one time at Nirvana, located next to the Schlosspark theater and the Schlossstrasse. The food is very affordable, great Indian flavors and the staff friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to assist choosing dishes you might like. If your planning to go in the weekends, make sure you... Food was ok. Lassi salty not as good as expected but overall food was ok. My friends had the same experience. Service average too. In conclusion not a true highlight but certainly ok to go.

This was our first visit to Berlin, and after a long drive we opted for a walk to this place near our hotel. It was busy on a Friday night, but not to the point of having to wait for a small table for 2. The wait staff was very friendly and accommodating. After a (very) short exchange in German,... More

Nirwana used to be an excellent restaurant. But since they've upgraded themselves, the food has become terrible. It can't really be described as Indian food anymore. Everything seems to have been mellowed down to accomodate the old ladies and families who visit the theatre next door. People, in other words, who wouldn't normally be caught dead in an Indian and... Walking back from the botanical gardens we saw this restaurant and decided to stop for lunch. Service was attentive. Food was pretty good - enjoyed the grilled scampi and the paneer masala - this was supposed to be hot, but was probably adapted for local taste.

If you want to eat a complete indian food lunch menu (soup, main dish and dessert) cheap and tasty.. Also is very important that they accept visa card.

Good Indian food. More fancy than its next door competitor Lunch menu is a bargain. No air condition is a huge minus in August 2015
