We stayed there with our baby, we all ate very well, lovely spinach and lentils, good rice and couscous, we loved it so much and we went back a second time during our stay in Berlin. My baby loved the beans salad and the grilled potatoes, really wide choice of vegetarian food. Lovely lovely lovely!

Could choose a 'small plate' of 2 choices, a 'medium plate' of three or a 'large plate' of four. We were very hungry so we each had the large one. It was huge! The waiter then heated our meal in the microwave. And included some couscous and we could choose a salad too. Amazing choices, difficult to choose four! Some... More

I am a Vegetarian and this rates as one of the best Vegetarian restaurants I have been to so far. The food is great with a wide choice, you select the plate size you wish and then either two hot dishes and salad or three hit dishes and no salad, that is for a medium plate, which was quite large... Great choice of vegetarian, or vegan, food. Choose your plate size, choose 2 or 3 hot dishes and then salad too. Good value. Nice atmosphere. Helpful staff.

A mountain of delicious vegetarian and vegan food for a very reasonable price. On top of your main course selection you also get a generous heap of salad from several different options. I chose the 3-choice medium plate. It was too big!

Staying in Kreuzberg

Neighbourhood Profile
Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central neighbourhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s and '60s, Turkish guest workers settled around Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and '90s, rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a carefree life here. An old hospital even became a hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today you can still find the best kebabs in town and many underground clubs, but a lot has changed as well. The hospital has been transformed into an art center, and increasingly you will find new urban cafés, restaurants and designer shops. Rising housing prices and gentrification threaten the spirit of this area along the Spree River, but the neighbourhood’s legacy is upheld by a very engaged community fighting to preserve its rebellious identity.
