After hearing about this forever I took a friend down and waiting in line for an hour for my Doner. It was good and prepared with much flair (Donerista?) but not that much better than the knockoffs. Thankfully there was a Currywurst stand nearby that...More

Guys we were waiting 1h in a queue but well ... it's worthy. I have never eat any similar kebab to this. Fresh vegetables mixed with cooked ones, and fresh herbs like mint and parsley plus few drops of lemon. it's unique !!!

I walked by the place a few times, it always had at least 10 minutes queue of people waiting for that famous Kebeb. It is the best I ate in Berlin, though a Turkish friend said: "it is the normal we have in Turkey". Still...More

The line talks for itself. And must say the vegetarian is a real star and change from falafels. And back to the line; it´s worth it!

Food: What differentiates this doner to others is the juicy grilled vegetables which compliments the delicious doner meat. Fresh salad, Turkish cheese and a range of rich sauces also add to make this a very tasty "fast" food which is worth waiting a slow moving,...More

Did not want to initially go, a have had quite a few let downs when it come to 'must go to' places, but this really deserves all the hype and fame it has. Best kebab I have ever had for sure.

We had heard of this iconic kiosk restaurant much before visiting Berlin. Although we visited long past the peak lunch hour, we had to wait for an hour in the line. An useful hint is to buy some Curry wurst from curry 36 just next...More

Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can
both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central
neighbourhood is beginning a new chapter. In the
1950s and '60s, Turkish guest workers settled around
Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and '90s,
rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a
carefree life here. An old hospital even became a
hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today
