Excellent Thai food with very affordable prices! The menu was both in German and English. Lots of locals. Only cash, no credit cards. It was such a good place that we went there twice.

I live near this restaurant when staying in Berlin with my partner. This amounts to three months across the year. I call it the "Cheap and Cheerful" which is a little harsh. The decor is ok and the staff very friendly and helpful. It is not a place for a special occasion but if you like Thai/Vietnamese food, beautifully cooked,... More

Looking for great food at great prices? Visit this little corner restaurant at Greifswalder Straße 216. I do every year with a study-abroad group. It has also become my go-to place when I'm hungry and solo. On nice days you'll find folks outside enjoying the rice and noodle dishes that are so attractively prepared. The plates always come out with... More

During many trips to Berlin, I've had many meals here and I'm spoiled. There might be fancier places, but none can beat the taste of the food and the prices at this corner restaurant. The menu is extensive and the food is always served hot. My favorite is #40a, rice and vegetables with chicken for €6.50. On nice days you... More

Wonderful Thai! I looked for my go to Thai dishes, but decided to try the red curry....it was outstanding. The sweet and sour soup is a meal in itself. ( I have been tempted to go back for the soup again.) There is great ambiance, the music was interesting. It was not crowded on a week night. It seemed like... More

Great place to enjoy Thai food, the palace was recommended by our Airb&b host and when she said it was one of the best restaurants in Berlin she was right! We arrived late (21:00) but could still have dinner.

well, after all the positive reviews here, I was really looking forward to eating lunch at MinuQuang. I won't go back there, that's for sure. Let's just say the following: (1) Tap water shouldn't be labeled as mineral water, when you have to pay for them 2 euros. (2) The dishes should be prepared at the same day, not the... More

Thoroughly enjoyed my bowl of pho here. It was perhaps one of the best I've ever tasted. Good service and good value. It was just around the corner from a hostel we stayed at for our little three-day trip to Berlin. Highly recommended.

Good, fresh and tasty Thai and Vietnamese dishes. Paid 22 euros for two main courses and two big beers. Close walking distance to the Leonardo royal Hotel.

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighbourhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighbourhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
