Nice place with a good street biergarten. Food was OK and for a very affordable price (on the week I was there several Bayern special menu options were available). Also nice beers at fair price. The only drawback was a slow service, although the waiters were friendly ... (understaffed if the place is full). A place to return if again I'm around the area.

Stopped in for a quick drink after a long day in Berlin. Stumbled across their dessert menu whilst indulging in a cold beer. The apple strudel was magnificent, a desert to die for.
The only thing that bettered this delightful desert was the service and personality of our host Mila. Thank you for a fantastic treat!

Lovely friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, and simple but well cooked, homemade food. Also great value for money. Came here several times on our week’s holiday as was staying in an apartment just up the road. Definitely recommend this place.

I managed to be there during the asparagus time.
Vienna Schnitzel with asparagus is really recommended.
The atmosphere is very nice, the staff too.

That means, that the colleagues within each others, with the boss and with the guests are fully satisfied and that they like their jobs. Very nice restaurant in Berlin Moabit with nice atmosphere.
They offer a " normal menue" and additional a special week menue.
Very friendly and competent service.

Very good restaurant providing local food. Good beer selection and friendly staff make this a worthwhile visit. Very reasonable prices. Service was maybe a little slow but I think that is because the staff took time to talk to customers

The food is good, and the plates full. But we arrived on a Sunday night, not so busy, as a party of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids). 10 minutes to pass our orders. Drinks, a soup, french fries and 3 dishes. After 45 minutes nothing. We asked. And the soup finally arrived 10 minutes later. Nothing else. With our 2 starving kids, maybe those dishes would be expected. We had to push again and finally got 2 dishes 65 minutes after entering the restaurant. I had to wait 10 minutes more for my Lichtblick salad. Incredible and inacceptable. No excuses from the waiter or the (apparent) owner or manager, who was just hanging around there, often on the phone. There are other good restaurants in the area !

Sorry for the late answer. Checking our history we saw our first comment denied here by tripadvisor. No idea why.
So a 2nd try. We still remember you well. And we are still sorry. The reason you were treated so bad is as simple and shameful as human - but to be honest it was a breakdown of technique. A few days before we got a new cash desk system. Your order was put into the system quickly. Usually the bar and the kitchen receive your orders immediately. The kitchen printer didn't work that moment for whatever reason. In each other systems we had there was an alternative that the print came out somewehere else to see the misworking. With the new system we found out there isn't any emergency copy anymore. You were the reason that we fixed that problem.
Indeed the "slow" waiter saw you were waiting far too long for your food, asked the kitchen, which had no work, where the food is and we saw the misery. That was the point where we started the soup and already the main course. As it was not busy, the mistake couldn't have been seen earlier.
We just can say sorry, sorry and sorry. That's definitely not our style. That was indeed a bad result for you - caused by a dumb technical problem.

Been travelling around Europe for 5 weeks and can't fault the food here in Berlin. Outstanding great good food hot. good atmosphere friendly staff and not expensive for what you get .recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes good food at the right prices. And can compete with top restaurants anywhere in the world .Well done guys .from Mike and Terry abreu from Poole Dorset U.K. if only if you where with us in the UK. They would be queuing up every night. Cheers and merry Christmas from foodies from the U.K.

We visited the restaurant twice this month and have been very satisfied.
Nice atmosphere and good cocktails.
The food has been also very good.
Service takes a little time but still acceptable.

Nice restaurant with a terrace close to U-Bahn Birkenstrasse.
This restaurant offers an additional weekly changing menu every Wednesday.
As an asparagus lover I visited it on a Tuesday in June on the last day they offered asparagus.
I have had two alcohol free cocktails ( Ipamena ). Really recommendable.

Having stayed in an Air BnB just across the street, we visited this bar a few times. The cocktails are really well priced and definitely contain a decent amount of alcohol (as my hangover told me the next day) - we had food on one occasion and it was perfectly fine. The service is a bit slow but the staff are friendly. I’d go back again if I was in the area.
