Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A classy restaurant in a Ritz Hotel is not something on the top of my list, but on this miserable rainy day in Berlin, I chose to miss out on a business dinner and went to this restaurant near where I was. I was pleasantly...surprised by the excellent service and helpful staff in this chic but cozy restaurant. The view of the completely open kitchen offers you the view of almost a theatre-like performance of the chefs. Both food and wine recommendations were excellent, but above all, the quality of service is what makes this place very special. They were flexible, helpful, and proposing something in anticipation of the next step. A sign of true excellence and impressive. Wholeheartedly recommended.More

We had an excellent evening here. The manager, sommelier and other staff were passionate about German food, and very professional and helpful. Our meal was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and the sommelier’s wine recommendations were perfect. Perfect restaurant. Coped with our food allergies very...well.More

Large restaurant and quite well planned. Few guests when we visited so not very lively. Very good service. Food good quality comfort style. Good wine list but a bit pricey. A la carte ( our choice ) or tasting menu. Comfortable seating.

Really disappointed. The food was no more than mediocre but what was really the letdown was the service. We said when we arrived that we needed to be reasonably quick as we were going to a concert (but we had allowed 90+ minutes). The main...course was ordered at 18:15 and arrived - after prompting. - at 19:26. There was no sense of urgency, no hurry and no apology. The careful decoration of each dish was clearly much more important than meeting the customers’ needs. And no one cared.More

I recommend visiting this restaurant because the food, the quality of service, and the interior were higher than we could expect. Everything matched great, and we have got an amazing gastronomic experience. Must visit!

My adult daughter and I dined at Pots last Saturday night. We had the six course tasting menu and classic wine pairing. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and wine but what really stood out was the kindness of the staff. This is fine dining with...a relaxed, professional, and approachable staff. We loved our interactions with the hostess, waitress, and sommelier. All top notch people. The sommelier did a fantastic job of describing each wine course. It was a memorable evening, than you to the whole team at Pots!More

We were celebrating my birthday and thought beforehand that this restaurant would be fine for us. It was a BIG disappointment to find out that the service was not ok and the meals were a joke. Very expensive and for example one main course consists...of two thin slices of tomateous and some green sauce. Awful!More

As we were staying in the hotel we had both breakfast and dinner in the restaurant. The food and service were extremely good and well presented. The only reason I marked it down slightly is that although the decor was extremely well done for breakfast...it didn’t really match the standard for dinner. Would have marked it higher but not an option and didn’t want to say 5.More

t is such a wonderful feeling to see that there’s still a place such as The Ritz Carlton Berlin, the place that values the most appreciated customer service throughout the entire hotel. During my second long stay at the Ritz, I had time to observe...the constant detail orientation and elegance of the staff at this hotel and not to mention their professional skills. A big “Thank you" to the POTS staff ( Anna, Angela, Rita, Nour, Tanzil, Sandra, and Yuma who is always on top of the perfection of the Buffet). The POTS team welcomes my spouse and I every morning with the same elegance and smile, always anticipating our needs and making sure not to miss any detail. It makes our Day!!!More

Upon recommendation we wanted to celebrate a very special birthday at the Pots. And during COVID times there was even a special offer for Berlin locals at the Ritz Carlton that still runs until the end of December. During these days we tired to support...Berlin high class restaurants with take away dinners and buying wine there. However, now at Pots and equally at the Ritz Carlton nobody answers the special offer reservation line. You get a lot of data protection advices and end up in an endless waiting line until you are kicked out of the line. And at Pots they tell you frankly that at the moment they prefer non local customers... We are surely not trying to get another reservation there and hope that international guests will make better service experiences.More

Relax fine dinning. A good vibe and excellent food, it changes from formal restaurants experience. It's the restaurant of the Ritz-Carlton! They use local products, everything was fresh and tasty. Must try is the deer, and for dessert get the mandarine one!!!

Pots is in Potzdamer platz . In my case when entering to the restaurant there is no one at the entrance of the restaurant. When asking the head waiter, he will let you wait, point to someone else letting you wait for some minutes. It's...not a McDonalds so would expect some eticket. Then someone will arrive and asign you a seat. You wait again and a waiter will arrive. The food is to recommend but if you are a Bonvoy member don't count on anything they promomte in their adds. It would be so easy to just give your Bonvoy card when you enter or pay. Same as you would be registering to the hotel. For this reason I'm disapointed of beeing loyal to the Bonvoy brand. After going to reception it was made very clear to me that the Bonvoy brand is only linked and applicable when you stay and eat in the same hotel (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner). Would you do that? Why? Why can the Bonvoy experience have to be only in the same hotel you are staying and why Bonvoy does not promote Bonvoy member to try new restautrant that are part of the Bonvoy family? It's just a matter of having a smart digital platform like TripAdvisor has...More

As we were staying in the Ritz Carlton and it was 13:45hrs, Pots was the obvious choice for a quick lunch. The special lunch menu was excellent. Short on choice but more than compensated by the quality of the food. Great service and a friendly...atmosphere. It is the same restaurant used for the hotel breakfast with a good table layout, allowing business meetings to take place and not too noisy. Highly recommendedMore
