Just what I needed after a long day travelling! Good value as well as it was under €10! The lasagna and spaghettini was also well received!

place is not large but very comfortable. they have an open fire, in winter it is cosier :-) service is efficient and their Pizzas are extremely crunchy and tasty, simple ingredients/toppings makes it even better. the crust is everything in a pizza and at the La Piazza they have it!

Every time the food has been fantastic, the staff friendly and the atmosphere lovely. Over the last 6 years the standard has been retained.

We stopped here for a rest after some shopping in the area and had a couple of coffees looking out the window at savignyplatz. We took up a table for ages with just coffees an the staff was so pleasant. A rarity in Berlin, where efficient but not super friendly service is the rule. At La piazza the waiters are... More

Went here in a group of 7 early New Year's Eve meal. Some of the food was cold. Very expensive and small portions. Poor quality steak and expensive! Steak pasta had 3 pieces of horrible frying style steak in it and even pizza was cold and poor quality. Would def give this one a miss! Miserable staff too!

We are visiting from London & took our daughter here for a 15th birthday meal. Service was exceptional, friendly staff & fantastic food (also cater for vegans). Great selection of drinks too. The owner came & spoke to us & shared the history of this venue, which has been in family for over 40 years. Many years ago the family... More

Mediterranean restaurant run by a Greek family serving mainly Italian food. Large portions and tasty courteous service with waiters explaining the food served - were the most interesting. Restaurant recommended midday meal

We had jumped the Sbahn down to stop Savignyplatz and we were just dropping into various café's and restaurants in this area when we decided to sit outside of this busy and popular place. A very pleasant member of staff took our order of a couple of flat white coffee's and after a short wait our coffee's arrived steaming hot... More

There is about 7 restaurants in this square, La Piazza is one of the better ones. Food was great and authentic. This is one of the few places in Berlin where we felt the service actually was good. Fun, helpful and quick. They take CC.

Most of the large section of restaurants in the Savigny Platz seem to be at least partially Italian, and this was no exception. Had the Mozzarella starter followed by the Pollo alla Grigli, and a couple of local beers. Was initially surprised when of the ladies sitting 2 table down specially greeted me, but subsequently it became obvious she was... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
